About this listen

A hidden identities standalone from small-town romance author Brooke Montgomery about a girl who wakes up married in Vegas to her ex-boyfriend’s twin brother....

From the moment he calls the crisis hotline, I'm drawn to his voice.

As I help him through his darkest moments, we slowly get to know each other. The more he needs me, the more I need him, too.

A family emergency forces me away from my volunteer job, and I fear I'll never talk to him again.

Until I'm introduced to my new boyfriend's twin brother.

For years, we ignore the undeniable tension between us. Even after my break up with his brother, neither of us says a word about our history. He's a player, and I'm too afraid of getting hurt again.

But then my restraint snaps, and I lose myself in a searing hot kiss.

When he doesn't hold back, I realize he wants this as desperately as I do.

Before things can go further, he stops us, and my insecurities rush in.

Dealing with the pain of losing my dad, I'm more confused about my feelings than before.

My lapse in judgment leads to getting pulled over, and when chaos erupts, he knocks out the deputy—rewarding himself with a backseat ride in the sheriff's SUV.

An article releases that tarnishes his reputation and threatens his family's business. But when I bail out another man for a crime he didn't commit, I get a target on my back, too.

My world flips upside down when we go to Vegas and wake up married. He begs me to give him a chance—thirty days to prove we should stay together.

But the honeymoon can't last forever in a Southern small town.

Sin with Me is book five in the Sugarland Creek series. Each book in this Southern, small town series is a standalone and ends in a happily ever after.

Book 5 in the Sugarland Creek series by Brooke Montgomery.

Just like all of her other books, Brooke puts so much passion in the books that she writes and this one is about Wilder and Delilah!

I have the privilege of getting the audio of this book and Teddy Hamilton and Avery Caris did a great job! If you listen to audio books, you know that the narrator is just as important as the character. They have to believe in the character and act as the character would to express everything through the words that they give us. This is what brings the story to life! These two narrators are two of my favorite and they both did incredible as Wilder and Delilah!

Tropes:
• Small town
• Cowboy
• Accidental Vegas wedding
• Ex’s brother
• Mental Health Rep
• Reformed playboy

Ending the series with these two characters, was amazing! We get to see their story and how they manage to get through everything. This book will pull at your heart strings because we get everything and all in between!

This is Delilah and Wilder’s story and I was quickly invested in the story that the author wove.

There were moments where I was moved to tears, I smiled but throughout it all I was cheering for these two to get the happily ever after that the both deserved.

Wilder has struggled with his mental health and it was at times heartbreaking. Sin With Me was such an emotional roller coaster of a read and one that left me with a book hangover.

The narration by Teddy Hamilton and Avery Caris was spot on in my opinion. Not only did they bring all the passion, angst and romance to life with their narration, but they did justice to the wonderful characters that Ms. Montgomery created. Their voices are easy to listen too and brought the story to life for me.

Avery Caris and Teddy Hamilton together in dual narration? Sign me up!

I have been anxiously waiting for Wilders story and the fact that it’s a hidden identity, brothers ex girlfriend story, had me absolutely hooked.

Brooke does an absolutely beautiful job of covering some very dark topics, some that we may be super uncomfortable with, but ones that really do deserve our attention. We’ve gotten small glimpses of Wilder in previous books, so I was so glad to get a more in depth view of what brought him to where he is now and what makes him tick.

Delly is a perfect fit for him. They really were able to lean on one another TOGETHER to move forward and find their HEA.

While I’m sad the series is coming to an end, this was a perfectly done story for the both of them.

Fantastic Story!!!

Sin With Me is book 5 in the Sugarland Creek series. It reads fine as a standalone but definitely better to be read after book 4 as it intertwines a lot as they are twin brothers. Seriously, Brooke,I don't know how you do it, but each book just keeps getting even more amazing. I am entirely obsessed with this series, the whole resort ranch, and the characters. I didn't think Wilder would make me fall for him, but my oh my he touched my heart so deeply. The mental health rep in this one from the point of view of a man, wow, it was beautifully approached and beautifully represented. There are some definite triggers so check those out prior.

Wilder is just a beautiful person with so much pain inside, he just wants to find his light. Delilah brings back his light and saves him from himself. He wants to be better not just for her, for himself and his family. The way their relationship started, to the way it evolved it had me in a chokehold. The character growth in this book is stellar. They were just such a beautiful match, their connection was strong, their chemistry was hot and their banter was so much fun. I just fell really hard for both of them and I think they've become one of my favorite couples in this series.

This series has been a smash hit from the start, truly all of these books are solid 5 stars. I am really sad that the Sugarland Creek ranch is over but I am glad to continue the adventure with the rest of their extended family. A wonderful series filled with love, laughter, suspense, passion, spice and amazing characters ! Don't miss out 😍

🎧 The narration by Teddy Hamilton & Avery Caris was perfection. IFYKYK I love my man Teddy. He just always brings it and I think he is the reason I fall in love with all these men 😂 Jokes aside, he played Wilder so well, showing off all his playboy side as well as his super soft side. His cocky moments as well as his vulnerable ones. I really enjoyed Avery's voice and how she voiced Delilah, she had a sweet voice and it truly fit her amazingly. I recommend all the audio’s for this series !

What an amazing ending to the Sugarland Creek series. WOWIE. I knew Wilder's book would be an emotional one but I was unprepared for how perfect Delilah is for him. The tension, banter, and angst was everything. Wilder and Delilah both go through so much and for them to get their HEA felt like a big hug. Sin With Me is going down as one of my favs in this series (I can't pick just one favorite, they are all phenomenal).

Loved this one so much!

While I am sad that our time in Sugarland Creek has come to end, this was the best way to wrap up the series! This is the fifth book in the series and is Wilder & Delilah’s story.

Wilder is a man with many layers. He’s the fun, do what he wants guy, the never settle down guy but he is also the guy who suffers from severe depression. We saw part of Wilder’s demons in Waylon’s story. Now we get a little more of his story while he had to fight them and who may have saved him. Delilah is the sister of Harlow and the ex of Wilder. She is strong and selfless, she has given up a lot to help take care of her family and others. Wilder & Delly’s story is emotional and filled with so much chemistry. Their growth throughout the story was so satisfying.

Y’all… this audiobook wrecked me in the best way. The narration was absolutely phenomenal, like, I forgot I was listening to a book and not living it. The two narrators brought so much depth and heart to these characters, I was fully immersed from chapter one. Teddy was so good as Wilder, the way that he captures his grumpy side with also his fun adventurous side. And then Avery was able to capture Delilah’s sweetness.

It's bittersweet to see this series close. I'm so happy to have the final story and what a pay off it is after seeing Wilder in the background of his siblings' stories and especially the impact his life had on his twin brother Waylon's story. You will definitely have the biggest impact if you read from the beginning, but if you only have time for one story before this one, make it book 4 Waylon's book.

Be kind to yourself and review the trigger/content warnings. There are some heavy topics discussed but nothing appears on page like it did in previous books, everything is looked at through conversation and memory with a lens of time. Mental health is important, be aware and understand your limits.

Wilder and Delilah have had a much longer past than anyone could have guessed. We find out in the beginning that she helped him through his darkest times and struggles with his depression but they didn't know each other IRL at that time, only over the phone. A fake name and a nick name were the closest they got to knowing each other but 6 months of emotionally raw conversations put the firmly in each other's minds. When fate crossed their paths again, she would be dating his twin brother...

The complexity of the pining Wilder had for Deli was intense and the way she made him a better person by just existing, it's so powerful. When they eventually get drunkenly married in Vegas, that's when the real fun starts. Wilder doesn't want to let her go once he has her, he does absolutely everything in his power to protect her from beginning to end and prove that his feelings are real. He wants to make this all work and that is seen in his commitment. He fell first, he fell *hard* and he's not letting go of her. I LOVE it!!

The audiobook was performed by Avery Caris and Teddy Hamilton. They did such a great job with Brooke's words. I felt the intensity of every emotional peak, from deep mental health conversations and discussions of grief, to smexy times and acts of devotion and confessions of long held secrets. These two did an amazing job with this story.

I requested and was provided with an advanced copy of the audiobook. These are my honest opinions.

I absolutely loved this story! It pulled me in from beginning to end and I loved getting to know Wilder and Delilah on a different level in this one. I loved that we also got to go backwards some and see more of what was going on with Wilder and his mental health and the surprise, secret connection that Wilder and Delilah have had for years. This story was definitely emotional as we see Wilder deal with his depression and all the forms that take for him on his journey of dealing with it and trying to find his way through and better ways of coping. I loved how Delilah and Wilder were really there for each other throughout the story. Delilah gives in and kisses Wilder on a night out and it opens things up and gives Wilder the opportunity he has been waiting and working towards. He makes his intentions known and that he doesn't want one night or to mess things up and so is willing to take things on the slower side and more deliberate about it all. I really loved how Wilder was about things with Delilah. They have built a friendship through the years and Wilder has paid attention and I loved seeing him pull that out. The trip to Vegas takes things to another level and I love how Wilder handles it and how they decide to give it a go. Wilder knows what he is wants and he wants forever with Delilah. I absolutely adored this story and loved the emotional aspect of it and how it was done. It was balanced out with humor and I loved the banter between the characters. The mental health aspect of this was handled really well as well. It dives into it and I thought did a really good job of being realistic and doing a good job of showcasing more of what goes on behind the scenes and in someone's head as well as the aftermath and how it affects the people and loved ones around them. I truly loved this one and am both happy and sad that this was the last one in the Sugarland Creek series and am hopeful that we will get to see more of these characters in the future somehow.
The narrators did a fantastic job with the characters and bringing them to life. They were great with the accents and personalities to bring the characters to life as well as the emotion and action happening in the story.

Absolutely loved it!

Amazing ending to a fantastic series. Loved the emotional journey the characters went through. This is a love story with an MMC who battles depression and takes actions because of his depression that some may find hard to read so be mindful before reading, but it is a beautiful story. I highly recommend this book because while it does explore some emotional content it is also funny and spicy and a beautiful love story. These two deserve and HEA and their journey to getting it is beautiful crafted. Loved this whole series and I can’t wait to listen to it all again. The narrators did a fantastic job as well. Highly recommend.

Brooke has written another story that I love so much. When she writes, you just know that it will end an HEA, but it won't come easy. Brooke gives you those tropes you secretly love. Twin's ex, mental health rep, and hidden romance.
That doesn't include the small town dirty talking cowboy that will have you begging for more.
Wilder and Deli are just amazing. I love their connection, and the way they meet is one that i haven't read before. But it was so great to have them meet like they did. I think it added depth to their connection.
Wilder is working on his family ranch, and he is content, but he has had a thing for his brother's now ex-girlfriend. Wilder has a heart that is so special. He loves hard!
Deli (Delilah) is working and keeping busy. Trying not to let the grief of everything suck her under. What she finds in Wilder is something she needed all along. Deli is sweet and caring. She has a heart of gold.
I loved these characters and the story they have to tell!

Teddy Hamilton is a master at this narrating business. He has a voice that will sweep you up and hold you close while you listen to this book. I always love getting to listen to his voice!
Avery Caris has a voice that is perfect for Deli. She has this sweetness but still sassy when needed in her tone. I really enjoyed her voice through this entire book.
Both the narrators brought this book to life in such a way you will experience this story as you listen.
