Publisher's summary

She's hated me for years…now it's past time to give her a reason to.

When you are a son and one of the heirs to the legacy of the Cavalieri name, you need to be more vicious than your enemies. Sometimes, the lines get blurred.

Years ago, they tried to use her as a pawn in a revenge scheme against me. Even though I cared about her, I let them treat her as if she were nothing. I was too arrogant and self-involved to protect her then.

But I'm here now. Ready to risk my life tracking down every single one of them. They'll pay for what they've done as surely as I'll pay for my sins against her. Too bad it won't be enough for her to let go of her hatred of me, to get her to stop fighting me.

Whether she likes it or not, I have the power, wealth, and connections to keep her by my side—and every intention of ruthlessly using all three to make her mine.

Sins of the Son continues the steamy, enemies-to-lovers drama of the Cavalieri men with Cesare and Milana's story and follows more of the tempestuous love affair between Barone and Amara.

Sins Of The Son

The story was really good. I feel that the narrator for Cesare should have been younger speaking. But overall they did a good job.

Great

This is an excellent series. However, the formula for the second book was very similar to the first book. This book was about childhood sweethearts and long ago misunderstandings. The narrators did a good job.

You’ll miss a lot if you don’t speak/understand Italian

This is a fantastic book and series. 10/10 for sure! It has a “fight me” kink element to most of their sex scenes. (This might be a trigger for some.) IMO, it’s delicious! This series is tied into a great story!

Tho ONLY thing I did not like is the excess of Italian dialogue between the characters because I couldn’t follow what they were saying. If this was in text, I could have copy an paste in google translate or something, but listening, I felt left out. Also, the food and wine names were so descriptive and spoken in a heavy Italian accent it’s sounded like a blur. For example, the narrator would start describing a dinner scene: I open a bottle of our Cavalieelgatoamaroelbingo aged red. Rosa (the cook) made pastadecabolomentoesta with servitodegatloengamto…. (made up words) and in my head, I’d just picture any random disk with red wine and keep going, because I had no idea why was said.

Both Narrators were amazing.

The spice was good the storyline not so much

The push and pull From something that happened years ago that he didn't know anything about just annoyed me. Honestly I didn't really care for the story line. I did however almost cried when he thought she died. It made my heart hurt. I didn't really care for the narrators either.

Another DNF

I LOVE Zoe Blake! This story is fantastic! i just couldn't get past the male narration. It was hard to see him as this younger, hot, attractive, sexy guy. I don't know how the dad and son can be the same narration. He just sounded like a much older, priest or principle. I'm sorry.
