About this listen

Earth is locked in a dangerous arms race with Rigel.

McGill’s efforts at diplomacy are disastrous. Events spin out of control and interstellar warfare consumes the outer provinces of the Empire. Great fleets are gathered, and troops are hurried aboard transports. Legion Varus is launched toward a secret target world.

McGill leads an early strike against Rigel’s defenses, but his efforts are foiled at every turn. Who could be behind these betrayals? Could his own government be plotting his demise?

Find out in Sky World, the thrilling eighteenth book in the Undying Mercenaries series.

Another home run

These stories are great and never gets old. There’s always a new twist and McGill is the man to address the challenge. Can’t wait for the next adventure.

Still love McGill’s exploits

How many of these will there be? Who cares, as long as Mark Boyett keeps “aw shucks”ing.

Great start… then

In the beginning we get some headway for backstory and some interesting details on an important supporting character. Then we don’t get closure really.

The writing is getting a bit lazy

I feel like the author is phoning it in a little... kind of the same old stuff. Narration is great as always.

Amazing series keeps it up

Skyward is amazing as always with Lil old James McGill! He's back and oh boy is he in trouble. What for? Wait til the end to sorta find out? Only small issues...alot of teasing and alot of Turov for better or worse.

I just love this whole series

Old magill just can’t stay out of trouble. I sit waiting for a new book and in two days it’s done, I need more but I guess there’s nothing left to do but go back and start the series all o we again, Mark Boyette really brings the story to life and I find myself looking forward to hearing his voice as much as learning the latest adventure
