This post-apocalyptic dystopian short story follows Elizabeth, a mechanical and chemical engineer who used to work for a rapid prototyping firm. She uses the skills from her former life to provide for her and the woman she took under her protection, Melissa.
The two seem to thrive in adverse conditions to bring semi-modern conditions to their hidden camp.
But even after the world ends, you sometimes need something pretty.

Any additional comments?
Another fine story by Erik Schubach. The only problem i have with it, is that it is a short story and not a full book. It feels like there is soo much more story to be told here yet. But no matter what it is still a good read/listen.Something Pretty

That's not to say Jessica is bad as a narrator, she's got potential to grow but she has a constant tone in here voice that just READS the story as it sounds. Not enough inflection. Well maybe here and there like in the last two chapters. I chalk it up to nervousness. Other than that, I enjoyed the story. Good on you Eric
Cute short story
