About this listen

"Sing with me, Little Rose."

A storyteller with the power to twist the tales of Fate never lives long. From the beginning, Calista has always told her royals this truth, but she's determined to break the chain of violence by avoiding the attention of the tricky Norns.

When the moon returns to blood and her royals from the neighboring kingdoms fall under attack from their shared enemy, she no longer has a choice and must join the fight to protect those she loves.

By digging into the truth of her mysterious past, Calista comes face to face with the whispers in the dark and the voice, the bond, with a man some know as the Mad King.

Soon, it's clear the king no one has truly seen might have more answers to Calista's past and true purpose than anyone. He might be the only way she survives this fight. Or he could be the one who delivers her destruction.

Welcome to the final stand in the bestselling Broken Kingdoms Saga. A twist of Phantom of the Opera and Vikings in one epic finale, possessive romance, and a destiny no one could ever escape.

I cried through most of this!

Everything was so beautifully done! From the word smithing to the performance. I’m so happy I got to enjoy this journey and I look forward to the loves of the Littles.🥰

Such a great series!

This book wraps up the tale of the 4 queens wonderfully, although I was a bit worried for a moment lol.

One of the best series I have ever read!!

The world building in this series is immaculate. The characters are so well thought out, and you can't help but fall in love with each one. The little nuggets of foreshadowing throughout are perfectly placed. Book 1 starts a bit slow, but you see how necessary it is as the series progresses. I'm a huge Harry Potter fan, and I have never found a series that I can't let go of like it until this one. I cannot recommend it enough!

I Can't Believe It's Over

My only solace is the Ever King and Queen Duet. This story was amazing, I honestly can't pick a favorite couple bc I love them all so much, and I freaking loved how this last book brought all the pieces together. Recommend for anyone who wants a long, addicting romantasy.

Story and Interconnection of books!

SUCH a good series!!! I love that each couple were different in personality and story, but also tied together in one way or another. The spice did get spicer as the series went on, but I would say it goes from 2 🌶 at the very most.

Great ending to a fantastic series but….

I’m only sad it is over! I would listen to all of the books again.

Great end to a wonderful series!

I love this particular pair of narrators and have listened to a number of books they have done. However, each series feels distinct with its own tone and voices. I was really into this series and flew through each book within a couple of days to a little less than a week, depending on how busy I was - often I’d listened to both books I used my credits on from the series on within this timeframe and then had to wait nearly a month for the next credit, lol! I found the mix of Viking, almost a medieval feel, and Fae plus the overarching theme of Fate and the Norns to be an intriguing combination and for the most part it worked really well. Occasionally certain phrases seemed especially modern and not to fit in with the rest quite so well, to the point that it distracted from the story, like calling the children “littles.” Overall, 5/5 for narration and the book and it’s pretty steamy, fairly frequently (although a bit less often in this book than in some of the earlier ones).

A perfect send off

This last book had me on edge, broke my heart, and then healed it by the end of the epilogue. I can’t wait to hear more from LJ Andrews
