About this listen

A new threat for the misfits emerges, only this time it might be another dragon.

Jason spends his time trying to protect Dragon Haven and understand the dragon misfits now that he has prevented Lorach from using them. He searches for more misfits, but quickly learns he won't be able to save them all.

When word of an attack on the Dragon Guard suggests Lorach is renewing their attempt to destroy the rebellion, Jason leaves to investigate. What he finds changes everything he knows about the misfits.

Saving the dragons means risking everything he's gained. If he fails, the rebellion will fail and Dragon Haven will fall. Even worse - the dragon misfits he's fought to find will be destroyed.

forgetful author

not gonna spoil it, but one of the "twists" was repeated here, in the context of "he'd never seen that before." yes he did. And it's not the only time.

entertaining listen nonetheless.

Repetitive

If you've listened to the other books than this is just a repeat. nothing really new or outstanding about this book. it's covers the same plot again again. oh no there's a bad guy over, I'll send my power over them, that didn't work? Let me us the power of 2 dragons! What that's not enough? Behold the all mighty power of 3 dragons! Oh wait you have literally hundreds? with centuries of experience? Doesn't matter I'm the MC. what trash.

The weaker book of the series thus far

In my opinion, this book had an excellent voice narrator! However, there was way to much repeating internal dialogue for me. I can see this dialogue happening in reality with a young naive lead character but the constant repeating of his thought process put me off. I read the other books so I may have skipped this issue in the books.

The story line is still good, yet this book stalls the overall plot progression.

The narrator made sure I finished this book.

circles

This book And the previous feels like they're just going around and around and in circles about the power and the power of the power. You could literally use this book as a drinking game because the word power and some others words get repeated so many times.
