Publisher's summary

The first of its kind! This how-to audiobook from two psychology experts will help kids transform stress, worry, and anxiety by uncovering their inner superpowers. Perfect for fans of The Confidence Code for Girls and Raina Telgemeier's Guts.

Now more than ever, kids need to feel empowered as they work through anxiety and low self-esteem. With its helpful, hands-on suggestions and tips, Superpowered will be embraced by every kid with insecurities, worries, and anxious thoughts.

Renee Jain (founder of GoZen!) and Dr. Shefali Tsabary (New York Times best-selling author and Oprah contributor) make listeners the superheroes of their own stories. They introduce a toolkit of easy-to-understand methods for recognizing anxious behaviors, identifying the root causes of worried thinking, and realizing that strength can be found in reclaiming one's inner superpowers.

Superpowered will help listeners find their P.O.W.E.R. (an acronym that inspires mindfulness and resilience practices) and gain lasting mental strength.

This audiobook includes a downloadable PDF that contains worksheets, a glossary, and resources from the book.

Practical and Entertaining

I picked up this book for my nephew but wanted to listen first to make sure it wasn’t too “kiddie-ish.” The authors did a fantastic job of making sure the material was practical, entertaining, and helpful to people of all ages. There were lots of tools and ideas I wished I’d known about before I went to college! This was a great book and really encouraged me to shift my perspective and get into a growth mindset.

kids really got into this

Some adults may question the utility and usefulness of this book at the beginning, but leave it on and let your kids listen to it and you will find your kids really want to listen and take in what this book is saying to them. Turns out it is much better than how it starts out.
