Such a comfort

Chock full of great information, yes, but it's also got so much encouragement. This audiobook will actually help put you at ease and get you set up for all the challenges ahead. It's really compassionate. I love the narrator too.

Glad to have this resource to make food less scary

Especially with the information (often conflicting) out there today about taking care of your body during pregnancy, it can be stress-inducing trying to do the right thing. Eating definitely falls into that category-- eat enough to nourish a baby but don't eat too much that you gain an unhealthy amount of weight-- ugh!

This book made a simple case for how to approach healthy eating and make it less intimidating. I also appreciated that the author took the time to mention postpartum care, which is often neglected but is just as important! Happy to have this resource before entering motherhood.

Great knowledge for Mom to be

This is a must-listen for Mom to be. It tells you the critical techniques during pregnancy to be a happy mom and give birth to a happy and healthy baby. It includes techniques such as pregnancy meditation, ways to deal with anxiety and stress which a lot of pregnant women found hard to avoid. The biggest take-away for me from this book is the menu for both Mom and baby to be healthy and energetic. I would highly recommend this book for Moms to be!

1 stop shop for your pregancy questions

I got this audio book as my sister in love is pregnant and I wanted to be able to give her helpful and advice and know what she should expect. I was very impressed with the up to date information. I love eating healthy so I appreciate all the nutrition advice and remedies to deal with symptoms like nausea and even breastfeeding. She really does walk you through the whole experience. Easy to listen to and a must read if you are expecting.

Like Having a Personal Baby Coach

This book is filled with great information that is heart warming and comforting to moms to be. It walks you through each step of the process. Providing food for thought, preparing you for all of the things you may not have thought of or considered. From what to expect, challenges that might occur and their solutions, and tips that aid in feeling better during the process. Definitely a must read for pregnant moms to be.

Good Points

I believe that any woman will find this book very helpful when considering the decision to begin their journey into motherhood. Many good points were made when it came down to the nutritional aspects of the subject matter and how each bit of nutrition affects the newborn prior to birth, be it good or bad. Narration was very good and so was the production. Recommended.

LOVE! THE BOOK I STUCK WITH!

A friend of mine recommended this book to me as it really helped her through her pregnancy. I thought to give it a try and I’m so glad that I did! I couldn’t recommend it enough that I actually want to get their continuation part 2 book, “Our Plus One.”

To give a bit of context, this is my first pregnancy and I was so nervous about what to expect, there’s so much information out there and I got so many books but this book, “Table for Two” was one I really stuck with, as it’s been my guide! It helped me with all the questions I had as a first time mommy to be. But it also covered so many different topics that didn’t even cross my mind, but are definitely important. I especially loved the healthy recipes shared. This book has really helped make my life easier throughout my journey, and I can’t wait to meet my new baby daughter (almost there!).

I would also like to acknowledge the audio portion of the book. I am a big fan of audio books, so I looked into for this book and I saw they had an audible version! I was super excited because with my hectic work schedule, the audio book is a lifesaver! The audio was very calming and soothing, clear and concise. People may not realize it, but sound plays a crucial point in how information is digested, esp in a book filled with lots of info.

Amazing resource for pregnant women

This book was a life saver!
My pregnancy came to my husband and I with a bit of surprise. While we were both happy about the news I did not feel very prepared for the road ahead. I had a vague understanding of what to expect through talking to other pregnant friends and doing some online research, but I was desperate for a comprehensive guide. I'm so glad I got this audiobook. It really served as a go-to for all things related to my pregnancy. I first listened to the whole thing from start to finish over a few days and I was so much more emboldened of the adventure of motherhood. It made me excited and my worries became smiles because of how prepared I felt. I found myself using the book as a reference guide at multiple stages.
I was so pleased with the purchase and have recommended this audiobook to two of my now pregnant friends!

The perfect gift for expecting mothers!

For starters the narrator feels like your best friend who really knows what she’s doing so you immediately feel well taken care of. The cover just felt clean, healthy and positive and the audiobook definitely delivered on that. I love that this was written by a nutritionist specifically for pregnancy, that’s perfect. It’s hard to sort out good information for what you should be eating but this handles the topic with a gentle and relaxing touch, while still making you feel taken care of.

From start to finish this audiobook will make you feel as prepared as possible during your pregnancy. Audiobook format is perfect for absorbing this great information because you can just get comfy and soak in the narrators soothing voice.

If you take a minute to look at the chapter heading you’ll plainly see that you’re in for a really complete experience so there’s no need to worry about if your question is going to be covered or not. Great listen overall!
