Good story but miss Wil Wheaton’s narration

The story itself was short, so I’m contemplating whether I should finish the 6 or 7 book series ($1 each) but each book is 1.5 hrs or less, and narrated by some dude that I didn’t care for. I guess I’m so used to Wil Wheaton’s voice and dry delivery, everyone else pales in comparison, imo.

Very good 5th story

These short stories are starting to come together to make a very good saga.
All have great narration. The narration of any book is very important to any story.

Another Engaging Episode

This was another fun little episode in Scalzi's ongoing series. Scalzi continues to craft the interesting characters and crew of the Clarke together piece by piece. This one picks up after episode 3, but doesn't follow directly, rather continues the story some weeks later. Wilson and the crew get a new ship, but not the kind they wanted, and the mission they are sent on is not all it seems to be at first.

Read em in order

I enjoyed the series more as I went through each episode. At first I struggled because it seemed like random stories set in this universe. But as it continued and I realized it was interwoven story lines I enjoyed them more. The main characters were enjoyable. It's pretty traditional sci fi fare but still worth the read.

The Crew is Back!!!

i liked this episode, there is a moment in it where you get a good laugh... and you see the results from the past episode and what the union is doing now for earth....

I hope the next episode will be more and more deep into the plot...

Wrong Voice

Throughout the series the narrator does the wrong voices once in a while. A man and a woman will be talking and suddenly the man has a woman's voice. It's a bit of a distraction, shoulda been an easy fix :/

Cubs and Cards help out Harry Wilson

Good ol' Harry back to stir things up in a story that is typical John Scalzi. Love the humor and even has baseball thrown in for good measure. More intrigue and mystery to build upon previous episodes, but this is a nice little self contained story, well worth the 69 cents

Just okay

Interesting but shallow. The short form is not ideal. Good characters. Not nearly as good as Scalzi's longer works.

Nothing Is As It Seems

In the first story in this series, the Colonial Union spaceship, The Clarke, is damaged foiling an alien plot. In this story, we see its captain pulled into another conspiracy as she and her crew get the job of selling an old freighter to the earth in an effort to build some good will for the Colonial Union. But nothing is ever as it seems in this series and it will take brains and ingenuity to bring this mission to a successful conclusion.
