About this listen

Taken to a Black Ops location off the coast of Louisiana, Staff Sergeant Jason “Ransom” McIlwain and his team are dropped into a surreal world of cyberterrorists, gateways between alternate planes of existence, and saving the world from an otherworldly entity known simply as Corruption.

Learning to navigate this new world where vampires, shapeshifters, and elves are real, Ransom and his team are soon fighting forces on both sides of the veil. To complicate matters more, Ransom discovers that his girlfriend and her friends are somehow mixed up in it all. Caught between his honor and his love, Ransom is forced to choose. Will he be able to live with his choice?

A powerful post-apocalyptic shifter series for fans of Ryan Westfield, Nathan Jones, and Kyla Stone.

Absolutely thrilling!

I enjoyed this book even more than I expected to. The well thought out details mixing reality with the magical world were amazing. Part 2 takes us along on Ransom's mission and his point of view during the same time that Erika is going through her own hellacious adventure. Great new characters including a fantastic dog named Boudreaux. I'm really looking forward to part 3.

Hadley Thorne gives us a great book 2 in this strange world.

The storyline is intriguing and the characters are very much relatable. Delving further into this new world that Hadley created was a fun ride. Hopefully we don’t have to wait too long for book 3, because I have some questions that need answering.

This is new and different

Great concept and well executed, this is a tale of dark things new and old. Loved the use of totems and the Nordic references. It was entertaining the whole way through.

Cannot wait for the next book

The more I listen to or read Hadley Thorne’s Tapestry of World Series, the more I want! And Christopher Coke killed the narration. I cannot wait for the next book!!

hmmm?

kinda lost me there, maybe I needed to read pt 1 first but I couldn't find it here. I needed something more in the story than just running and gunning
