Nice collection of intriguing tales in the spirit of the Twilight Zone, as promised. The voice talent is top notch and really brings these alive - particularly strong on the stories about the little girl and the one about mining on another planet.

Some great speculative fiction stories (even the sci-fi has spec fic overtones) Definitely food for thought. I wasn't overly thrilled with the narration but, it wasn't bad enough to stop listening and, it won't stop me from listening to other stories narrated by Laurie Flanigan Hegge and Jon Hegge. It is mostly my prejudices that affected the total enjoyment of the narration (I'm a total English snob)

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

What a great collection of stories! I could see these as a twilight zone movie marathon! I thoroughly enjoyed every story included in the book! There was mostly sci fi and some sci fi/horror.

As the second book by Kevin Kuhn I have had the joy of being able to listen to and review I can say, I plan on looking for future works! His writing has a wonderful flow and ability to draw you in.

Narration was excellent! Overall five stars for me! Looking forward to future works.

Excellent variety of stories!

This collection bills itself front and center as being Twilight Zone inspired, and happily I can say it absolutely nails the feel and tone of the original series and there's really not much higher praise I can give it. There are a couple stories here which overstay their welcome but for the most part they're snappy, fun shorts that take advantage of the medium to explore settings and events that would be impractically high-budget for episodes of Twilight Zone itself. Several of them feel like lost stories from the comic series '2000 AD', so if either TZ or 2KAD are your thing you'll find a lot to like here.

A great homage to the Twilight Zone

There were quite a few really great stories in this collection. Very creative. A couple did not appeal to me, but that's what makes short stories so great.
I really liked the male narrator. The female one was tough for me, but I believe she only did 2 of the stories.

Nice Scifi short stories

This is my review of
Ten Tales of a Dark Tomorrow.By Kevin A. KuhnNarrated by Jon Hegge and Laurie Hegge
Great listen, tho I didn't care for one story. But they are all short stories anyways. Totally Twilight Zone or Night Gallery with outer space themes. Just when the story gets intense and you get the twist, it's over. I wish some on the storty were longer as I wanted more.

Great book.

Ten Tales of a Dark Tomorrow. .
I loved 8 of the 10 stories in this collection, the other two just didn't excite my imagination.
That being said this is a collection of very different tales , so recommending this anthology is easy, it is a very engrossing audiobook.
Narration is very good.

These Twilight-zone like short stories were insanely good! The first story set the stage for the awesomeness and I just sat back and kept enjoying one escapade after another. Each of the stories were engrossing and compelling and a complete head slap at the end.

I really liked the story of the granddaughter experiencing her grandmother's memories. That story was so special and different that I didn't want it to end. It had these really sweet mini-stories and I just wanted to stay in that world.

I was actually surprised that there were only two narrators. The variety of voices and situations made me think it was an ensemble cast. Two big thumbs up to the Hegge's!

Seriously good!

These stories are definitely reminiscent of the Twilight Zone, Many had a style very close to Ray Bradbury’s fantasies. I enjoyed most of these stories and the few I didn’t particularly like were short ! I also liked Kuhn’s introductions for each story. I thought the two narrators did an outstanding job.

Hints of Bradbury in the Twilight Zone

The title is a little deceptive in that these tales are not so dark as you might think. At least I didn't find them so, but then I've read a lot of sci-fi/speculative fiction - which is where I would classify this book. The author got his inspiration from the old Twilight Zone TV show and I would say he's right on point. I thought most of these stories would fit the bill for an episode. I especially liked Let's Ride Bikes and Nana's Memory Box. Most stories were under an hour's listen so you can listen to the book in chunks if that's what worked best for you. However, I found the stories so absorbing I rolled from one right on into another just to see what else was in store! They were quite spellbinding! An enjoyable listen if you like sci-fi or shows like the Twilight Zone. * I was given a review copy of this audiobook at my request and have offered my honest opinions*
