The titan of Death, a goddess of magic and mystery . . . an impossible crush that might finally have a chance.

When Thanatos starts having nightmares about Hecate, he knows it's time to find out what fate has befallen his dearest friend and oldest crush. Selene is having the same dreams, and with her magic starting to bloom she's going to need her great-aunt Hecate to teach her how to use it . . . no matter how much it pisses off Hermes.

Trapped under a sleeping curse for decades thanks to Pandora and her human pet, Lander, Hecate doesn't know what to make of the world she's woken up to. Thanatos is free of his curse and is causing her to have hot flushes whenever he gets too close, and horror of horrors, her descendant is dating the most annoying Olympian of them all.

All Hecate knows for sure is that she needs retrieve her stolen keys to the crossroads if her power is going to be complete again, and then she can figure out what to do with all of her repressed feelings for the Titan of Death.

The Court may have dealt with Pandora, but they are to discover her treachery created worse things than Pithos, and the war to bring them down is far from over.

Solid Addition

I really enjoyed this book. It adds a lot to the series and I really love Hecate. My only real grip is there isn't a big battle like you have gotten with the other books. I'm hoping the next book makes up for it.

Great Story

I really enjoyed the love story - not much of a battle with the antagonist but it is clear this story is a build up to the next book.

Juvenile writing and interactions on millennial old Gods

The narration for this is so light. She is whispering throughout the whole book. It makes it impossible to listen to on my drive home, which makes the book useless. Also I hate how these millennia old gods are written. The author makes them sound like 18 year old boys going through puberty “Dont be a chicken!”, “I can see you dreaming about kissing and touching smooch smooch”. Huh? It sounds so YA if it didn’t include erotica. And it especially sounded childish with this narrator. Also things happened so over the top that it just completely took me out of the story. The book probably would’ve been better if it was around 3-4 hours long to be honest.
