About this listen

My name is Bekka, and my life used to be simple. Sure, I was a goddess and a princess, but I had that figured out. Or at least I did until I came into my powers, and Arrick, the dangerously sexy heir of my family’s greatest enemy, kidnapped me.

Things got complicated after that—Arrick’s home realm of Moldize faced imminent destruction, and my newfound powers were destined to save them. But how could I trust them?

Exiled from the peaceful Twelve Realms over 900 years ago, Moldize was filled with malevolent deities and villainous men. Forced into this brutal world, I felt conflicted. On the one hand, I wanted to stand against my family’s enemy, but on the other, I felt drawn to my destiny like a moth to a flame.

I needed to decide my next move quickly, because time was running out. My powerful grandfather was searching for me, and I knew that once he caught up with the gods who kidnapped me, there would be no stopping his thirst for vengeance. That left me with a crucial question: Could I save them all before he found me? And even more important: Did I want to?

Super unique world!

I highly enjoyed this story. Th world building and and character development was well done. The multiverse of the gods and the concept is super fun.
An family feud enemy to lovers story with fade to black spice. (For those who may want something a bit more extra spicy when the characters finally have their big bang moment . The doors do close. ) Otherwise, the story is great and looking forward to book 2!! You are not left on a cliffhanger for the current plot of the book. But are lead into the next issue for the next book at the end. Just an fyi.

Great storyline

From the start it grabbed my interest. This concepts of the story were unique and interesting. Love the names and how this plays out. The only thing that I was not a fan of was the intro of so many characters in the prologue. A fun read/listen! Looking forward to the next in the series.

A great start to a series!

I really enjoyed this book. The author did a great job of always giving me a clear picture of what was going on and how the main character was feeling despite this book being a meld of two different genres! At some points, at was fantasty and others, more post apocalyptic/sci Fi. I really enjoyed having all of those things in the same book as I was never bored.
