I was actually hesitant about this one because the characters were all pretty much unknown. But wow it came through in a big way! Loved the new additions as well as some older ones. Just superb!!

First I would like to say that Nicole Poole is a wonderful narrator. She makes it enjoyable to listen. Dannika Dark does not let you down with this story. If you are new to her writing I suggest you start your journey with the Mageri series and then the Seven series. I was a fan after reading Sterling. Five stars Overall.

Ms. Dark cannot go wrong. I devour her books every time they are released, then pout because I went through them to fast.

The characters in this story were a lot of fun. I love how dimensional they were and the connections they made with each other. Sometimes families are made from a hodgepodge of people and that is what this group feels like. I thoroughly enjoyed the story.

this was the best of the series for me. loved all the characters they brought in. I cheered when people joined the pack and cried a little too overall wonderful story.

All of the books in this series are fantastic but this one in particular takes the cake! Getting to see characters from her other series show up and develop in this book plus the balance of new characters was so great!

I also appreciate that the female role in this book was a really strong character who didn’t give in to the oppressive forces around her or fall into the stereotypical traps.

I also love that even after a bunch of books, it has the same narrator! She does a great job with a million voices and it’s great to hear returning characters with the same voice.
