I loved these books! This was my first Audible book experience, and it was absolutely phenomenal! I got very caught up in the story, from start to finish. The story was memorable, and I related so much to the storyline. The character development was very good, with just the right amount of mystery.
Normally, I read on my Kindle app on my android smart phone. It is very convenient, but if I am reading a very good book, I get behind on my at home responsibilities. Being self employed, I am accountable only to myself, and getting caught up in a book is detrimental to my work!
Experiencing this trilogy on Audible was so satisfying! I cooked, I cleaned, I did laundry, and even tackled some chores that I had put off for some time, and it was effortless! I was so caught up in these fascinating books that I breezed thru the housework effortlessly.
Now..here is the million dollar question: Is there more of this story waiting for me to drive into? I am holding my breath, afraid to search. I want to know what happened to the colonists now that the war is over, (for now), their remaining enemies, the symbiot that could help or doom the colonist, will, the benevolent, and sentient indigenous creature, what will happen with Maria and Thomas, who is the mysterious alien who entered the story as it was ending...!!
I am so invested in this story, and the characters that I have come to love, and hate, (as the case may be), and I NEED TO KNOW WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN TO THEM!!

I listened to this 2 years before on an audio reader for the blind. I was more than happy to hear it again completely. It's a great story with a great performance.

What more could you wish for? Who needs end of the world as we know it when we can have end of the world as we can live on it? This story will catch you at the beginning and keep you engaged til the end. A couple interesting wrinkles as the books change just makes the read that much better. Good narration brings this story to life. Highly recommended and I will be looking for more good reads from this author.

This entire trilogy was so amazing I listened to the entire think in the span of two days! The story was captivating and the narrator did a fantastic job with it! Definitely something I can't wait to go back and read again!

Yes I would but obviously after a time. I liked the way the plot went.

I had none real favorites but they were all pretty good.

Jeffrey Kafer's performance makes it hard for me to hit stop on my mp3. Makes me want to keep listening.

Though this is my first audible experience, I must say this trilogy is captivating. I quuckky became immersed in the story. The characters development made me feel as though I'd grown with them. Great writing, fantastic storyline and performed spectacularly by Jeffrey Kafer.
