Literary Excellence, another masterpiece

Indigo was my favorite, and Vivid closely followed. I couldn't stop listening especially after discovering a descendant of Galen "the dragon" Vashawn and Saint Hester was with a descendant of Nathaniel Grayson and Vivica Lancaster. There is never a wasted credit with Mrs. Beverly Jenkins! This is a great read, whether your first of her books or a seasoned fan. The narrator was also wonderful. A perfect match.

Another great one!

The writings of the author, and to hear the story by the narrator, combined together, actually take you there. This is a must read/listen.

Good but a racier

Little too much sex talk but good. I have listened to other books from this author but this one was definitely racier.

Love the Story

I enjoyed the book, it had those characters that make you smiled and wish you were in her/his shoes. I'm also glad it had a pitch of the first black romance book I ever read years ago, Indigo,. I loved that it showed descendants in this book.

Amazing!!!

at first I wasn't too sure because it was part of the black lace storyline. but when I started to see how the main characters were going to meet up I was hooked from that moment on! I finished the book in less than 24 hours! this does not disappoint! Beverly never disappointed!

Most Enjoyable

I’m a Beverly Jenkins fan. I was quite pleased with her first contemporary romance suspense novel, and especially so that it was based in Detroit. Her characters were rich and her storyline held my attention to the very end. I hope this won’t be the last we hear of the couple and their adventures. I would recommend it.

Totally Enjoyed!

But the females in some of Beverly Jennings books are too independent and difficult they usually ask silly questions causing the men unnecessary drama - most men are simple and don't like to be challenged at every turn. (females love to play games).
