Publisher's summary

New York Times best-selling author R. A. Salvatore brings you three tales of DemonWars:

"Mather's Blood" takes place before the start of the DemonWars Saga and tells of the ranger Mather Wyndon, uncle of Elbryan.

"A Song For Sadye" offers new insights into the life of the bard, Sadye, who plays an important role in the second half of the DemonWars Saga.

"The Education of Brother Thaddius" highlights the troubles in the Abellican Church, battered by the De’Unneran Heresy and struggling to survive in a world ravaged by wars and demons.

Great

It’s tough because will must have tried to make all of the names wrong. The guy is a clown. Story is fantastic however, the guy reading it is just the most lackluster storyteller known to man.

Too Short

Not enough story for the price. Leaving the main story at a cliffhanger and so much of the story unfinished seems lazy.

Lots of characters

Complicated story with a lot of political factions. Almost need to make a chart to keep up. Wasn't sure if I was going to like it or invest myself into another series, but by the end of book 1, I think I will continue. Also, excellent narrator. Passionate performance. Bravo!

Enjoyable

I really enjoyed the stories, and normally love Wil Wheaton’s narrations; however, the inconsistency in name pronunciation from both him an Felicia compared to the full story narrator was a little distracting.

not the story but but the tellers

Felicia's reading wasn't horrible. Wasn't the best of ever heard, but Wil made me want to stop the book altogether at times. his pronunciation of character names, places, and at times trying to overact, really kill the narrative. but another times when he reads like a normal human being, like how he normally sounds, he's not at all bad

Lovely short stories

I especially liked The Education of Brother Thaddeus. It was nice to get a glimpse of the aftermath of the church. I thought Will Wheaton did a wonderful job narrating. The way he pronounced some of the major character's names threw me off but I quickly got use to it. Happens every time someone new narrates a series. Felicia Day was also a delight to listen to.

I like Will Wheaton but

Did he pronounce every name wrong on purpose? Either that or the other 15 audio books set in Corona all got it wrong. Probably the first one. Started to get annoying.

Pronunciation of names!

I listened to all of the demon war saga books narrated by Tim Gerard who consistently pronounced all the character names. This one narrated by Wil Wheaton is unfortunately not the same which turns out is quite distracting to listen to.
