About this listen

The quadrant is burning. Violent, deadly uprisings are breaking out, seemingly at random, all across the Confederation's sphere of influence. The response by the powerful Confederation Fleet has been swift and decisive, but for every planet they restore order to, another erupts into chaos. Omega Force is working along the frontier worlds when they're forced to come to the aid of a longtime ally and soon realize that the two events are not unrelated. The deeper they dig into the occurrences, the more Captain Burke finds he doesn't know who he can trust as he tries to unravel the mystery and not only exonerate his friend but keep himself, and his crew, alive.

this was an alright book but it ends with a hook that I do not think will get explained for some time.
even-so its worth a listen.

Good enough...

It's fairly apparent that, while he is a good story writer, Dalzelle has very little in the way of skill when it comes to planning a series. Frequent recycling of plot elements and devices really breaks up the feeling of an advancing storyline.

I love OF, I really do, but Dalzelle needs a plan.

This book and the whole series is some of the best military science fiction I've listened to in quite a while

I plan on getting the rest of the series right away.

What do you do when you're accidentally kidnapped from planet earth in a spaceship? Escape your captor, rescue people in trouble, and kick some ass along the way?

Yes, please!

This is one of my favorite science fiction series of all time. It's fun, witty, ridiculous, and the characters are absolutely fantastic.
Paul Heitsch delivers time and again in each book of this series. He is able to impart a distinct characteristic and tone of voice for each of the many different types of characters and peoples.
I sincerely hope to see many more books in this series for years to come.
**Full disclosure: I received a review copy of this book.**

This book is an excellent sequel to the first two. I thoroughly enjoyed the continued exploits of Omega Force. The character interactions are perfect and really draw you into the story. I highly recommend this series of books to anyone.

the narrator did an amazing job doing distinct voices for all characters and was captivating with properly added emotion to fit the story.

loved the narrator

Any additional comments?

In my review of the first book of the series, I alluded to being reminded of the TV series "Firefly" and the zesty adventures that they would have. In addition, for folks who been around awhile, the TV series "Have Gun Will Travel" is also in the back of my mind. Again..I hope the Author doesn't disparage these comparisons as I only wish to illustrate my love for the Lighthearted adventures and camaraderie that these stories evoke. Put simply the "Good Guys win and the Bad Guys lose heavily". All-in-all good adventures and a great page turner..

Series continues to delight....very intertaining

I really like this series and it goes into to list of books I'll be listening to again and again. The narrator brings the characters to life as the novel keeps me captivated. Mr dalzelle, as long as you keep writing and employing mr heitsch, I'll keep buying

Entertaining series

Though the stories of this series are quite cut and dry. And you never feel like the main characters are in any real danger. I find myself hooked on the details of books. I am a sci-fi need and this series satisfies me whenever I need a simple and satisfying book to listen to in traffic or painting models. I'll be buying the whole series haha

Simple, yet intricate
