Living in New Zealand, Jack Gee thought he was safe. The beautiful, isolated country had always provided a sense of security. When a virus begins to spread across the globe, he is on a hiking trip in the mountains, blissfully unaware. honestly when I first started listening to this and their narrator started to describe the variance, I was not sold. But after continuing to listen, I realized this book is very very good! I am glad that I hung in there. once you listen to more of it you realize that it is possible. very gory, very non-candy coated! But loved it just the same.

It took some time but I did get into it very quickly After sitting back and listening to him how they tell you how these things look like

It was interesting listening to a series in this genre that is based in another country, and the accents, pronunciations, and structure. You grow used to a certain way and it is a nice change. Narrator was good, storyline took some unique turns. Really enjoyed listening to this series.

the art of story telling is on point with cliffhangers at the end of every chapter nearly keeping you rivited to to see what happens next. however with so many characters having so much occur to them, its impossible to remember what was going on when they start back with that character.
