I chose this book for the vast and researched information following listening to Lisa’s Fertility Fridays podcast. It did not disappoint. It filled in the gaps I needed to understand my body and reduced the fear about being older trying to conceive. Between the podcast and the book it’s been 2.5 months eating healthy (even liver 😉) and today I got my first positive pregnancy test. I know it’s early but now I believe it’s possible for me to become pregnant where before I doubted it. This book is for people who are willing to listen to the research, track signs and symptoms, and change their eating habits. Again, thank you!

If you have a uterus, you must read this book!
I cannot recommend this book highly enough to literally anyone with a uterus. Whether you are looking to get pregnant, avoid pregnancy, or simply optimize your health, Lisa walks you through everything you need to know in evidence-based, science back, terms but explained so you don’t need a medical degree to understand. Her advice is thorough and actionable. Highly highly highly recommend!

Excellent perspective

PLETHORA OF VITAL INFO
I chose to give this a 5 star rating because the author simply deserves nothing less. Although it's so much info that it can be dry at times, I appreciated that she included as much of her findings as possible. For this reason, I would essentially recommend this book to every woman as there is something to take away from this book whether it be about birth control, vaginal health signs, nutrition, and much more. I'm excited to continue learning about FAM and begin charting my cycles as well.
