Such a great fasting resource! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Could have been titled “Fast Like a Human” because it has so much generally helpful information - EVERYONE could benefit from listening. It does also contain a ton of relevant info about fasting at various ages and cycles for women.

I am a huge Dr. Mindy fan. She is incredibly aligned with her mission to promote various ways of fasting so that everyone can reap the benefits. She is so generous with her resources and knowledge - if you are not a subscriber of her YouTube channel, please check it out. I love the obvious gratitude she exudes.

I have already pre-ordered the paperback version of Fast Like a Girl but wanted to get started on it right away, I’m thankful that Dr. Mindy read the audible version herself. I think this helps people feel more connected to her work.

What every woman needs to know in a nutshell

My first thought was - I wish I knew this in my 40’s, my next thought was I WISH I KNEW THIS IN MY 20’s. This book takes fasting to the next level for women. It’s about time our needs and physiology is taken into consideration. It’s about time we have the tools to take control of our health. This book is very empowering and a great resource whether you’re new to fasting and taking steps to improve your health or already living a fasting lifestyle.

Love that Dr Mindy narrates the book herself!

Very informative

Other than music playing over the author periodically making it a bit difficult to focus on her information I’ve taken away a lot of clear guidance that I’ll take with me as I prepare for and begin a fasting lifestyle. Grateful to have a book that speaks to fasting for women!

Highly recommend!

This book so was informative! She explains things in an understandable way and breaks fasting down the right way in an easy manner. I love how its not a one-size-fits-all book, either. She takes into account the fact we all have different metabolic types and menstrual cycles, and even addresses and had plans for those who don't have a menstrual cycle due to birth control or menopause. I can't get over how great of a book this was! And she kept things interesting the whole time!

Very Informative & Understandable

Loved the information and the way it was presented in a way that ANYONE can understand and apply to their life. I wish there was a little more information for women who've undergone a radical hysterectomy. Although I'm in my sixties now, I went thru the hysterectomy way before I would have gone through menopause, and I believe there are hormonal differences that would uniquely change some of the advise given in the book. Overall this book if full of great information and has greatly changed the way I will approach fasting in the future.

Priceless

The information and explanations are priceless, and practical ways to implement a fasting way of life is beyond helpful. Saved my future life

Struggled with the vocal fry.

I would have given this informative book a five, if not for the vocal fry. Throughout the book the narrator’s natural voice fades in and out only to be substituted for vocal fry. I’ll be so happy when this vocal fad fades.
