Jillian Harper thought moving to the quiet little town in Montana would be the fresh start her family needed. A charming farmhouse, friendly neighbors, and endless open fields—it was supposed to be perfect. Until the bodies are found. Buried deep on their land. Hidden for years. The police are everywhere. The town is whispering. And Tucker—her devoted husband—is acting . . . strange. He won’t tell her where he was all day. He won’t explain why his phone was off. And worst of all—he won’t meet her eyes.

The case against Thompson as the Bloody Heart Killer is damning - and closed, as far as Gwen and the media are concerned. If not for one new development.

Catchy from start to end
I couldn’t put the book down. I stayed up listening, knowing I should be going to sleep but I had to know what happened next. Wish the book was a little longer.

Absolutely STUPID!!
This was the most unrealistic, ridiculous plot that I’ve ever read. It was completely unbelievable and dumb but, for some strange reason, I loved it!!!! 🤷🏻♀️I guess we all need a change.

read the physical copy
The story was pretty good. The narration is soooo bad. If I hadn't spent a credit on it I would not have finished. Get the physical!

The final scene
The beginning had my FULL attention it was fast-paced, tense, and super engaging. The middle didn’t drag, but it was just okay. I did want to keep reading/listening to see who if anyone would make it to the end. I wished the final scene was a little more satisfying. I’m still not sure why Grace did what she did, or why we were reliving her life in the first place. didn’t understand the romance scene it definitely wasn’t needed. The ending felt rushed and left me wanting to know more. Still a good thriller, with a great start. Just not as satisfying as I anticipated.

Great storyline
I wish Grace’s background would have been explained in more detail. I needed more “why” she was doing this.

Story was good but….
The narrator was really hard to follow. I couldn’t really flow with her voice and the way she read the story in itself was good though.

Narration Ruined the Story
The story is interesting, but the narration will completely take you out of the story. The narrator doesn't understand how to read sentences that involve dialog, so it's very distracting and makes the flow of the story harder to follow. The premise of the story is exciting, and you'll root for the characters to find a way out of this insanity, but only if you can get through the horrid narration.
