The story was on the right track to be good, but the narrator was terrible. Adding an additional symbol or letter to each sentence ending. It made it hard to get through the story.

I had a difficult time with this book. I liked the story, but found the narration so distracting & irritating that I barely made it through. I was glad I pushed through. I enjoyed the story--wish I had read it vs listened.

The book was ok. But, the narrator, Claire Duncan, was terrible. She was too breathy, even with the males. Some may like that manner of speech but not me. This was not a romance novel.

I really enjoyed the story but the story teller did not speak well. I had to shut my mind yo that and hit used to her in the end.

I'm trying to finish this book because the story is great, but the narrator is like listening to blBugs Bunny with a Connecticut accent. Torture. luckily I also have the kindle version so I can takes breaks from the terrible narration and continue the story.
