How to not kill your soul

A bit of a commercial but a good message. All people should be encouraged to love who they are and not strive to be a computer processed image. How to improve your mental health by saying nice things to yourself instead of terrible stuff you'd never even say to your worst enemy.

My life is changed

I don’t have enough words to explain what my soul feels from listening to this book. The words and flow that Mel uses resonated with me so deeply. I am improved on my perspective of food and how I eat and what I feel towards my body and image. I highly recommend this book to anyone (even men) who has issues with food and their body image! Thank you Mel for your vulnerability and sharing of your personal story and for this book! You are forever in my heart!

remind me lots of things

Must-read!

Must read for anyone struggling with their relationship with food, their body and self image. What a goddess Mel is!! This book really helped me come to peace with my body and with how I related with food and my eating patterns. Very healing!

Life-Changing

I loved this book! After years of counting calories or points and weighing myself daily, this was the mindset shift I needed to break free from that cycle. I loved Mel's narration. It's like you're listening to a motivation speaker, not someone just reading words from a page. I definitely plan to give this one a second listen.

Fabulous!!!

It's easy to say I wish I had found this book years ago but I know it has come to me at just the right time in my life. I look forward to my journey forward with a new perspective on food and of myself.

It started out slow and was difficult for me to stay focused but then about chapter 3 really got interesting and I really enjoyed it.
