About this listen

NEW SCIENCE FICTION SERIES FROM THE CREATOR OF THE COBRA SERIES AND STAR WARS' ADMIRAL THRAWN.

There wasn’t much money to be made as a Trailblazer, searching out new worlds for possible development. Still, it was safer than the bounty hunter career that had cost Gregory Roarke his left arm six years ago. And thanks to his Kadolian partner Selene’s ultrasensitive sense of smell, they occasionally discovered a medically promising seed or spore they could sell under the table. It was a quiet life, uneventful and mostly legal.

Until Roarke was approached by two men with a proposal: track down a mysterious woman named Tera and, through her, locate a secret project called Icarus.

The challenge was intriguing. The unlimited budget was tempting. But Roarke had a more personal reason to accept the job.

The chance for long-delayed payback.

Great sequel to the Icarus Hunt

I enjoyed the previous book very much and was pleasantly surprised when I find this sequel and am very excited for the next few books in the series.
Between the first two I did enjoy the story of the first one more. In my option it had a few more fun twists.

Brilliant story!!!

Zahn does not disappoint. Story is well written and exciting.
But voice actor Mac Thompson makes it become alive. He's amazing!!!
If you like space soaps spiced with the rougish element (Han Solo) this is for you!

As my father used to say…

…allusions to the previous book are well done. Not running with a lazy recycled plot is classy. And somehow meeting and in some cases exceeding the first book is down right fantastic.

Great story.

The narrator was good overall, but got a little bit too excited when things got hectic.
