Visuals?

Great content, but this was clearly originally video. There are quite a few references to visuals that aren’t in the accompanying PDF.

Assumes accompanying video

Assumes accompanying video but there is only audio in the course. That leaves the listener lost many times.

Decent look into some of the current thinking around neuroscience of intelligence

Would recommend listening, though the first half is a little dull. Check out his appearance on the Lex Friedman podcast as well

Would Be Better With Video

A lot of this lecture series was referencing slides and videos... I think YouTube would've been a better format. Unfortunate this is an Audible Exclusive, since it seems a lot of the content was lost via the audio format.

Excellent review of the Science

the only thing keeping this from being completely out of the park was the reliance on images, graphs & videos- not available in the audio version. They would have added a lot

I wanted more lectures

I didn’t like how everything seemed so inconclusive. The field really does deserve more attention, research and funding.

Incomplete

The audio is incomplete without the original video, sometimes is impossible to understand what is being said.

Unnecessarily Visual Based Lecture

Great information, great professor, huge mistake by Audible production manager overlooking the fact the professor is regularly referencing visuals. This information would easily be expressed without needing images and graphs, but the professor clearly did not know Audible intended to repackage this as audio only.

This is just audio stripped from a video

This is just audio stripped from a video. The presenter repeatedly references visual examples that we can't see.
