About this listen

Gabriel Allon had a simple but brutal job: he tracked down and eliminated Israel's terrorist enemies. But when his wife and son fell victim to the danger that accompanied him everywhere, Gabriel quit and devoted himself to the world of art restoration, an occupation that had previously been a cover for his secret assignments. Now Ari Shamron, the head of Israeli intelligence, needs Gabriel's particular kind of experience to thwart a Palestinian plot to destroy the peace negotiations in the Middle East. The architect of this plot, a Palestinian zealot named Tariq, is a lethal part of Gabriel's past, so as the two being an intercontinental game of hide-and-seek, with life and death as the prizes, the motives are as personal as they are political.©2000 Daniel Silva (P)2000 Random House, Inc. Great Narration good twists

I loves the narration and thought the story had a good plot with plenty of twists. I expected more colorful descriptions and has trouble visualizing some of the people and locations because there was not enough description

hmmm… a lot like his other book

well, can't say I enjoyed this as much as the english assassin. some redundancy in the descriptive writing and a bit predictable.

The book is well written and the narrator uses enough voices to make the listener interested... the book keeps ones interest all thru the book.

The kill artist

I have listened to this after finishing all Gabriel books to date. An incredible series of which this one is a classic. It is good to go back to the beginning and enjoy these masterpieces again

50/50

The beginning is confusing - difficult to follow and too many names. It gets better over time and the second half is more interesting

Thoroughly enjoyed the twists and turns.

Would you listen to The Kill Artist again? Why?

Normally, I would not, however, it was a complicated story with twists. I might be inclined to listen again to develop a greater appreciation of the story.

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

Yes, you never know what will happen next.

Which character – as performed by Jason Culp – was your favorite?

He did a good job differentiating the characters, giving each a personality.
