About this listen

When Aleksey lived in the shadows at the heart of the British Royal Family, he assumed he was the cuckoo in the nest, the one living a double life. He had no idea that he was surrounded by deceits even more deadly than his own. But now, buying Light Island has unearthed a long-buried secret so important that people are willing to kill for it. However, the first time in his life, this fight doesn’t actually affect Aleksey. He doesn’t need to risk everything he’s now got with Ben to battle the tempests of life once more. But, in the healing waters of Light Island, he’s come to understand that sometimes other people need a helping hand from one who understands the true meaning of storms.

perfect

Thank you Mr. Wiltshire. New stories for these tremendous characters is a gift I didn't even hope for. If you've not read or listened to them yet, you're missing a great treat. Stop and think how rare it is to have a long running series where every story remains vital as much as the first or the previous stories. That's what mister wiltshire manages. Every time. But go back and start with the original series, More heat than the sun.

Ben and Molly

I love the relationship that Ben has with Molly. He is becoming the father we knew he could be, and Aleksy’s own relationship with Amelia and Myles and of course Molly is endearing. Loved the letters from Jenna and that Phillipa is back on the scene. One of my favorites of this series.

Another Fabulous Book

It’s like a Christmas and New Year gift to have this series continue. I love how the plot and the twist develop and how everyone in Aleksey’s life has just accepted that weird and dangerous situations follow him through life.

I’m glad to see how he’s finally starting to appreciate the fact that other people do see him and want him, even though he claims not to care.

The fire and devotion of he and Ben’s relationship shine through everything and it’s good to see their passion for each other has not diminished. Numerous very hot scenes make that very clear.

And, of course, Gary Furlong’s narration is superb, as always. I can’t imagine anyone else voicing these characters.
