About this listen

A woman discovers the father of the child she is nannying may be her biggest (Only)Fan in this steamy contemporary romance by Lana Ferguson.

Suddenly unemployed and on the brink of eviction, Cassie Evans is left with two choices: get a new job (and fast) or fire up her long-untouched OnlyFans account. But the job market is terrible, and as for OnlyFans. . . . Well, there are reasons she can’t go back. Just when all hope seems lost, an ad for a live-in nanny position seems like the solution to all her problems. It’s almost too perfect—until she meets her would-be employer.

Aiden Reid, executive chef and DILF extraordinaire, is far from the stuffy single dad Cassie was imagining. He shocks her when he tells her she’s the most qualified applicant he’s met in weeks, practically begging her to take the job. With hands that make her hindbrain howl and eyes that scream sex, the idea of living under the same roof as Aiden feels dangerous, but with no other option, she decides to stay with him and his adorably tenacious daughter, Sophie.

Cassie soon discovers that Aiden is not a stranger at all, but instead someone who is very familiar with her—or at least, her body. Given that he doesn’t remember her, Cassie is faced with what feels like an impossible situation. As their relationship heats to temperatures hotter than any kitchen Aiden has ever worked in, Cassie struggles with telling Aiden the truth, and the more terrifying possibility—losing the best chance at happiness she’s ever had.

Critic reviews

“I need more books like The Nanny, stat. A smart, educated heroine (yes please!) meets a driven, career-focused single dad. Sparks fly....and fly, and fly. Seriously, this book is like if Ali Hazelwood and Tessa Bailey had a smutty baby. I devoured every page and was sad to see it end. This is the spice BookTok wants! Now I need Lana Ferguson to work faster, because I want to see everything she writes.”—Ruby Dixon, international bestselling author

The Nanny is sweet, beautifully sexy, and Aiden is the single Zaddy you want in your life. An amazing debut.”—Elena Armas, New York Times Bestselling Author

"Smart, fun, sexy, and sizzling with romantic tension, The Nanny is a mouthwateringly delicious take on second chances with a healthy dash of steam. I can't wait for more from Lana Ferguson!"—Sara Desai, author of The Singles Table

The story and performance are well done. Lighthearted and such sweet characters. Looking forward to more of this author’s and voice actors’ books.

Wholesome

The narrators did an excellent job! The book was excellent except for the cliche of I’m doing this for the better…when it’s never better for either of them…and for the fact she couldn’t put 2 and 2 together for the reason that he “disappeared” a year ago.

Loved the performance

I'm glad I was going back and forth between my reading and audio... because I never would've finished this book.

the narration was ATROCIOUS.

This is a quick, hot read. The writing is cheesy & mediocre at times. The swearing seemed gratuitous at times as well. The worst part was the female narration! The voice she used was so irritating.

Very Sexy Book, but horrible narration!

This has been by far my most favorite book. The banter, the jokes, and sarcasm throughout this book, was not something that I knew I was missing, but I’m not sure I could just go back to another book that is not by Lana! Amazing story, amazing characters, amazing love, and amazingly beautiful

I loved it! It was very heartwarming story towards the little girl, and showing that it takes time and trial to win a little one’s heart specially after what she went thru!!! Wanda was a hoot, I hope that when I’m old I grow up to be like her!!! And the story between the 2 main characters was HOT!!!!
My new favorite saying is “Diddle your Skittle” (Wanda)

Heartwarming but hot!!!!

I finished this book a few hours ago. I can't remember the names of the main characters. it was a smut book. that's the main story with a little bit of plot about about being a nanny. kinda reminded me of the Nanny show from the 90s with the Scarlet Johansson Nanny movie. the 70 yr best friend was the best person but she still was flat as a character

Steamy beyond what I thought

I really wanted to love this book. Got very excited about it and was ready for it. The narrators were good and I enjoyed most of the story. I'm not sure if I just got to excited about it but it fell flat for me.

Forced Proximity Nannies

Really enjoyed the stores but unfortunately the narration was not what I would have expected from the character descriptions. Suspension of disbelief for the MMC who does not sound like his voice causes the MFC to feel a certain way like it’s supposed to. Her voice for him is better than his. Disappointing.

Disappointing narration for a great book
