Loved it

I can honestly say that I wasn't the biggest Oren fan especially in the begining of the Infidelity series. I down right hated the man, but as the series went on I could see that he wasn't all bad. By the time I finished Fidelity Oren had made a soft spot in my heart. I was super excited when Aleatha said Oren was going to get his own book, and Aleatha NEVER disappoints. Brian narration was spot on. I wish this series could go on forever but all good things come to an end. 5 amazing stars.

Great listen!

Loved it! I wish there could've been something to let us know things turned out for Orion and Lennox! An epilogue or something! Otherwise I really enjoyed this book! I've been Aleatha'ed for a while!

Simply Magnificent

Oren Demetri can surely hold his own. He has always followed his own path and answered to no one. He makes his money, pays his debts, and has his loyalties. He falls in love with Angelina Costello and he must get permission to marry her. Angelina is not an ordinary pursuit; she is the niece of Carmine Costello …a Dom with power and notoriety. Angelina is like a daughter to Carmine and he will protect her as if she were his most prized possession. She’s in love and therefore he must ask Oren for his loyalty …his very life. Oren knows this game well and he’s willing to play and pay the cost to have Angelina …and what a cost he paid.
The Good: In true Aleatha fashion this story was solid and left no stone unturned. It kept my attention from the start and Brian Pallino did an amazing job bringing Oren to life.
The Bad: It’s really hard to describe the bad without giving spoilers, however, I will say that life is tough and being caught up in the life of crime makes it worse, especially when you try to maintain some sense of normalcy for your family.
The Ugly: The Mob life is ugly. The things you must sacrifice, the danger, and the breaking of your spirit is just awful.
Oren and Angelina were perfection. I could not get enough of them and after listening to Infidelity, this made it so much better. There were questions answered and I now have a new perspective of Oren’s relationship with his Son. The narrator brought such life and realness to this story. The Mob life is scary, and I felt every bit of it. Scared, panicked, remorseful, sad. What are you willing to give up to have the love of your life, the family you desire, and the respect of one of the most powerful crime families in existence? How do you not give into the temptation to try and run so that you can start over? How would you feel to not be in control of the decisions you make for your family? Aleatha captured the essence of being in the world of gangsters. Murder, mystery, love, infidelity, and sacrifice. Such an amazing story from Oren’s POV! A Solid 5 Stars

Incredible story, fantastic narration! Credit worthy!

This was such an emotional story and audiobook. I truly felt like boarded a roller coaster of emotions with incredible twists and turns and stomach-clenching dips that made the ride intense, gripping, and fantastic.

It was great. It was raw and emotional. I might have traded up a little. I really liked Angelina and Oren. She had an amazing ability to love. He was a very complicated man. I loved her and understood him. I heart also broke a little for him at the sacrifices he made.

Narration by Brian Pallino was superb. He did an excellent job of bringing out every characters’ emotions. I really enjoyed his voice and look forward to more from him. All in all I loved this book! It’s not high on steam, but the story is so fantastic it doesn’t need it. Story and narration for this audiobook are incredible and make it completely credit worthy! Now I feel like I need to go back and listen to the rest of the series.

Oh Oren...{{{sigh}}}

I am not sure what I was expecting from this story. I am a huge fan of the Infidelity series and I think maybe I was expecting a little more insight into that world. This story was strictly about Oren, he is Nox’s Dad, and how he navigated being apart of his wife’s “family”. I enjoyed meeting Nox’s Mom since we didn’t really get much info on her in the series. I enjoyed learning more about Sylvia’s role with the Demetri’s. Oren didn’t earn any points in my eyes in this story. It does make me want to re-listen to the Infidelity series, I miss Nox and Charlie!!

So Incredibly Beautiful and Captivating.....

Although this addition to the Infidelity Series lacked the gripping intrigue that she’s known for, Aleatha has spun the most breathtaking story of love that will leave you reeling from its beauty and impact long after the last page is closed. To its best advantage, this installment should be read prior to the original 5 book series but can certainly be enjoyed on its own as a truly epic story of love, sacrifice and Respect.

Family ties

What a wild mafia ride. Littered with Love that knows no bounds. Bonds that make a family strong. Action adventure and secrets that can eat at one’s soul. How can you not need this story in your life!! It really gives a great insight on how much a person can do and give for those he loves.
The narration is on point bringing life to these characters to life in ones mind. The emotions pour out of their voice and catch you right from word one.
