About this listen

Worth isn't given but taken.

After her 12th birthday, Adelheid von Vuldar must take the next step for her ascension to the throne, the Reginnaglar Ceremony. For generations, members of the imperial family have tested their mettle in dungeons to prove their worthiness, and now, it is Adelheid's turn. Leading her fledging band of knights, Adelheid will delve deep into the Byrgir Dungeon and become one step closer to the throne.

But as Adelheid soon discovers, monsters are far from the worse danger within the dungeon.

It’s a good story. Awesome effect. Poor world building, poor character development, great plot holes but awesome narrative.

Fantastic follow up to the first novel. The combat it exciting and keeps you engaged, the character development keeps you attached to the cast. The way the author transitions to third party perspectives to show you the situation from a different perspective, but doesn't linger there for longer than necessary is great. Can't wait to see what Adelaide will do next, and how he growing list of enemies will respond.

Solid story, character growth and well written action.

I enjoy this book series so far. It feels like one of those anime that only got one season but was canceled to early. Before it starts to get interesting I am glad that the series is still going.

A good sequel

Love the story so far. Might buy the books instead of waiting for the Audio Books.
What really caught me off guard was the sound effects. Not many do this, I really loved that.

I recommend it

Typically dislike sound effects in audiobooks. However thoroughly enjoyed them here and really added to the audio experience. Story was also good for the sequel though had to re-read all the history from first book to catch up on the mythos.

Enjoyed the effects

An excellent continuation to the story. However, I'm still not completely happy with the narration. Thankfully the character voices sounded more varied than in the first book, but the narration was too slow paced and required me to speed it up for the entire book.

Great story. Performance still lacking.

Carbon dioxide isn't poisonous, it does displace oxygen but it isn't poisonous. Now carbon monoxide is poisonous and is more effective and created when fuel can't get enough oxygen and causes an incomplete combustion.

love it just have one issue.

It took me awhile to get a good grasp of where the story was heading but it’s definitely a fun foodie ride! The monster outbreak and the bear guy were definitely solid too

Fun and mostly lighthearted!
