About this listen

The Sentinel’s reign is doomed to failure unless Tei can prevent the Kalayan people from plunging into war.

With the new Sentinel initiated and the magic restored on Kalaya, life is flourishing for Tei and the exiles. But Rathnor’s plans for war soon escalate and thwart any chance of peace.

Brogan’s position on the Assembly is uncertain as rumours circulate that he is an exile spy.

After an attempt on his life, Farrell is more determined than ever to build a home for his people on Stone Haven. But the council have their sights set on Kalaya and Farrell struggles to steer them from war.

As trouble brews within and outside forces gather against them, can the exiles keep their hold on the magic, or will this spell the end of Kalaya and its people?

The Sentinel’s Reign is a heroic fantasy. If you like character-driven adventures then you will love The Sentinel’s Reign.

This is the second book in the Silent Sea Chronicles trilogy and follows on from The Lost Sentinel.

There is so much happening in the book

There is too much in the spot to give you a better summary than the one that is on the book page day is in this book all friends that were laws come back to help, enemies become new friends and someone holy unexpected saves a day. This book is really good and there’s a book I highly recommend I don’t think anyone could’ve done the narration better than Mr. Ellington. I don’t know how he does it, but he does and makes it sound so easy. This is the second book in the sentinel trilogy Ian there is so much going on in the spot that’s just too much to explain just know you should get this book I highly recommend it and I absolutely loved it!

Excellent Adventure Fantasy

Very well written in an organized manner. Author laid groundwork to easily perceive why the storyline progresses in the manner it does.
The Narrator was Superb, with excellent vocal pressure, and the perfect voice narration of this audiobook. The vocal pressure used gives the listener the sensation of sitting by a campfire listening to a Master Storyteller!

I would recommend this audiobook to ages 15 and older due to some violence and light adult situations.

I was given this audiobook for free and I freely give it my rating and opinion

High stakes epic fantasy!

The second book in the Silent Sea Chronicles is even more exciting than the first book. The Sentinel’s Reign continues with the further adventures of the characters we know and love. The world is expansive and we get to explore it from many viewpoints. The conflict has escalated to an epic scale and war is in the air — but who will triumph? The exiles with their magic, the assembly who has been corrupted, or a new group of people from across the sea?
The narrator does an amazing job bringing the huge cast of characters to life. His interpretation of all the different voices adds lots of depth and excitement to the story. If you’re a fan of epic fantasy or classic sword and sorcery, you will enjoy this series.

great

I was offered a copy of this audiobook in exchange for a fair and honest review.
The narrator was great, perfectly suited to this story and performing just as wonderfully as he did in the previous book. My only issue with the audio is the sound effects. Im not a fan of sound effects for events or noises for transitions though it should be noted there arent many sound effects in this one. This author and narrator pairing is great. The narrator really brought the characters to life and made you feel the tone of the story. He has a great voice, good vocal range and fantastic pacing. He had clear and concise enunciation as well as a pleasant voice and accent. The story for this book was just as good as the first. The world building is wonderful and well displayed with no info dumps or dry bland paragraphs waxing endlessly on about irrelevant facts/details. Interesting premise with great execution. This second installment grabbed my attention right away and I found it hard to put down or pause the story. It flows exceptionally well from the first book to this book. the author does a wonderful job of suspending the readers disbelief allowing you to believe it is within the realm of possibility. Great rising action/climax that held your attention. Well fleshed out Characters, even the side characters, with clear personalities and realistic motivation. Characters have organic interactions. It was easy to slip back into this world as a reader and the constant air of danger and treachery surrounding the characters grips you.The unique spin on fantasy and magic is wonderful. There are several events and storylines beautifully woven together. Absolutely brilliant, I cannot wait for more.
