About this listen

It is commonly acknowledged that successful organizations adjust quickly and intelligently to shifts in consumer tastes, political climate, and economic opportunity. But how are some able to succeed at change while so many others fail?

Drawing on his acclaimed work in bringing about large-scale and substantial change in education reform in both public school systems and universities, as well as engaging in major change initiatives internationally, Michael Fullan lays out the key factors that allow an organization to sustain meaningful change and explores essential lessons for business and public sector leaders for surviving and thriving in today's complex environment.

Critic reviews

"Fullan has an uncanny ability to produce what is needed at the time it is needed. The six secrets are based in theory, grounded in practice, powerful in their relationship to each other, and described in ways that enable deep understanding." (Vicki Phillips, director of educations, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation)

No the book was filled with many good points; that was an absurd amount of references the world. The book did not flow as a result. A great text for an instructor, but not as good for a “for fun” reader.

Book of references.

Fantastic and has application far beyond the classroom or school setting. I strongly suggest reading along with the narration as there are some large topics here.

Excellent

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

I can't actually comment on the content of this book, as I hardly got past five minutes. The narrator's voice, combined with the citations every ten words, make it impossible to listen to and comprehend. I need to read this for a class, so I've already ordered the physical book, and will be returning this Audible selection.

Too hard to listen to!
