I had the skin that almost any teen girl could have (but it was really not that bad as I was used to thinking). I visited various doctors, salons for cosmetic consultations and appointments, spent a lot of money on countless skincare products - literally, I can't even remember the names or count.
I believed in many influencers' recommendations to get the perfect skin as they had. But I ended up with dry and sensitive skin. Some of the recommendations I was thinking would prove to be a skin miracle, resulted in scars.
Through my skincare freak journey, I’ve seen every fad, heard a lot of myths, and witnessed with my own skin what works and what does not. The lessons I learned were being patient when trying a new product and adding something new to my routine. I learned the hard way what is good for my skin and what is not.
Another thing that helped me get better skin was to accept that I don’t have glass-perfect skin. I tried to understand the labels and checked the product ingredients, so I won’t harm my skin anymore. And now, I know how to make my skin look better.
I want my several skincare fellows to find good advice and save their skin for longer. That's why I compiled my skincare research and experience in the form of this book. I believe it will help you select trusty products for your very own skin type and condition from every price range and maybe a good friend in the end.
