About this listen

The colony on Haven-7 has gone rogue.

The colonists have split into two factions: the Techborn and the Dusters. The Techborn have always ruled the planet. They control the remnants of the crashed starship that brought humanity to this new world. The Dusters… they eat Techborn dust.

Now, the Techborn strength is waning. Their weapons are getting old, and radiation leaks from the aging reactors have created mutations. Some of these, like their brutish troops known as Tuskers, have proven useful—but others are abominations.

When the Dusters rebel, civil war breaks out. Special Forces operative Dane Tanner is transmitted to Haven-7 to stabilize the colony… by any means necessary.

The Techborn is the thrilling first book of the Rift Warrior series. With millions of copies sold, USA Today bestselling author B. V. Larson is the king of modern military science fiction.

This book was OK… saved by Mark Boyette. It's really just undying mercenaries with a rift

Enjoyed this book very much. The main character Dane Tanner was quite the tough guy and loved it.

New world to follow, given to us from BV Larson.

The narration was excellent and saved the book. Sorry to say that B.V. Larson should be ashamed of this story. It was action packed but repetitive and shallow.

Lame storyline

I don't know why the reviews have been lagging on this one. I listened to it start to finish a day and half. Fun the whole time. Boyett was great as usual. Yes some characters were similar to Undying Mercenaries. So what. Heroes are heroes. I loved it.

This was fun the whole way. Loved it.

melodramatic and over acted. it's okay if you're into this kind of story, but I won't be back for the next story.

teenage fantasy

I didn't hate it. I didn't love it. It's the type of book and story that's good for when you're doing projects or chores without needing to pay attention to every word. I just never felt invested in the groups.

Good for background noise

everything felt like a budget version of Dust World, another one of the authors books. maybe it's fine if you haven't already read that one.

as a huge fan of the undying mercenaries series, I can say our favorite author has done another epic idea, with all the great attributes that we love about the undying mercenaries series. I can't wait for the next book on audible.
