About this listen

Living a life free of demons and finding forgiveness had always seemed unattainable to Jesse Ward. And yet Ava OShea offered him a chance of happiness, the possibility of a happy ever after. Their affair has been an intense whirlwind, full of highs and lows, and now Jesse's finally on the cusp of realizing what he always thought was impossible.

Love. Marriage. Acceptance.

Redemption

Except for one very important thing. The final part of Jesse's past that he's kept from the woman of his dreams. Because surely Ava will walk away if she knows about the most damaging skeleton in his endless closet.

As Jesse navigates his wild, infinitely passionate relationship with Ava, the demons stir, threatening to damage their love and trust. His domination and fierceness inevitably intensifies, ensuring he's constantly straddling the line between bliss and complete irrationality. His past is pursuing him.

His forever with Ava is uncertain.

And Jesse's faced with the inconceivable reality that by simply bringing Ava into his world, he's ultimately risked her life.

Love this one! Great finish

Once again Jodi has given us a complicated but delicious masterpiece with This Woman Forever. It’s the 3rd book in Jesse’s POV and should not be read as a standalone. Jodi wrote a moving and completely captivating side of Jesse for this one. I thought I had gotten it all before, but boy was I wrong. I knew this side of Jesse was possible, but to see it written out and listen to it on audio was just so emotional. This book was so much more than I expected. The complexity, and intricacies that are Jesse Ward continue to blow my mind. Honestly, it was genius. I can only imagine how hard it was for JEM to write it because this one was a rough one. Oh, the last 20 percent of the book…. Be ready.
From the beginning we see Jesse for whom he really is, but I also love the extra vulnerability that he shows in this book. I love the alpha, loving and softer side of Jesse we see. But, don’t worry he is still super raw, complex, unhinged, consuming, and all encompassing. He’s struggling with his demons, insecurities , the guilt, pain from his past and the ghosts still he runs from. We see flashbacks and interactions with his loved ones from his past, and some not so loved ones. Some of the truths we learned from his POV, wow! His past is still leaving him apprehensive of opening up to Ava, but she continues to show him in this version that she’s the one for him. He met his match with her. IMO she continues to show her strength in being able to love a broken man like Jesse. The messages on the wall, perfect example. They truly saved and healed each other. 🥹🥹 I saw Jessie continue to grow, learn, have hope, and fill himself with love in this book. He continues to strive to be a better man, and change his past for the best possible future. Loved that we got see more of his relationships with Kathy, John, Drew, Sam and his family. Of course, JEM doesn’t leave out the sassiness, the spice, angst, plot twist, or vendettas in this one. I will say, I read and listened to the audiobook. Shane East doesn’t disappoint, his devotion to this character came through so hard. Especially in the last 20 percent of the book. At the same token I couldn’t stop getting trampled by Shane, JEM and Jesse MF Ward. Amazing read and listen. I’m sad to see this story end. But, if you haven’t read With This Man book 4 in the This Man Series it’s technically the next book and it’s already in Jesse’s POV.

Loving, Thrilling Conclusion (pt 1?)

Absolutely love that two talented though troubled people can find each other, and take care of each other.
Eva and Jesse are the Yin and Yan for each other. Some would call it codependency. I call it soul mates, Destiny. A gift from God to for the other. I don't believe it's Fiction to find "The One".
JEM does this in such magnificent dual POV style. The emotion is visceral. Palpable. These books are (for me) Flawless!
Love You!!

Perfection

I have loved the This Man series since I first read it. Getting Jesse' POV makes the series even better.
Learning what Jesse was thinking and going through makes the whole series that much more intriguing and hurtful to read.
I highly recommend you read this series but please start with This Man, you will not wait to miss a thing between Jesse and Ava.

Great addition to the This Man/This Woman Saga

The This Man/This Woman series is in my top 10 all-time favorites. I listen on heavy rotation to all the books and was so excited when Jodi told us the audiobook for Jesse’s final book went live early! I adored everything about this book, almost. Jodi does such a wonderful job crafting the villain Sarah that it detracts from the the love story. How can someone claim that a woman is his whole world and turn around and ask her to eat sh*t from Sarah because she made him feel guilty? No way would he accept Matt into their lives if the shoe was on the other foot. I HATED this aspect of the story, and HATED that Jesse took sooooo long to finally rid them of her forever.i highly recommend this book if you love Jesse and Ava.

Jesse Ward

This was my favorite Jesse Ward book. To be inside his head and feel his confusion, grief, self-loathing, hope and love was wonderful. All the bad decisions he made and those made for him came to a head when he met (and stalked) the woman he could not live without. He’s lost so much and holds it all inside, just threatening to boil over on many occasions. He’s so fearful he’ll lose Ava over his past that he continues to give half truths and lies by omission. Her life is in danger and he’s losing making himself crazy. Add in some good friends, family gained and family lost, a $ex manor he no longer finds rewarding in this new life he lives, and even more crazy occurrences. Then danger escalates and every step forward he’s taken to heal and be happy, in love may just disappear.

I truly loved Jesse and his crazy ways, and Ava’s independence and sass to his crazy.

Fanfreakingtastic!

As the final book in the series from Jesse’s POV I didn’t want it to end! It’s still amazing to me how much I adored this book and series even though I already knew the whole story from Ava’s POV. I never imagined the hold these books would have on me, but here we are. Jodi’s writing is so colorful and she is such a powerful storyteller, and then add the heartbreakingly intense emotions we feel watching this love story from Jesse’s point of view and you have a literary masterpiece. Then to make a 5 star book into a 10 star audiobook, just add Shane East narrating as Jesse Ward and I can’t imaging anything better. The emotional range that Shane East displays as Jesse is phenomenal and achingly beautiful. Best audiobook of the year by far.

The end

I just love their story .. true Jesse is a complete narcissist but seeing what he mentally had to go through was heartbreaking . Glad he was able to overcome 🥹
