Publisher's summary

From #1 New York Times bestselling author Sherrilyn Kenyon comes the next thrilling installment in her blockbuster Dark-Hunter series

The Mayans aren't the only ones with a 2012 prophecy…

Long before recorded history, there was a Keetoowah warrior so feared that everyone trembled before his wrath. Only a brutal betrayal by the one closest to him could defeat him. But not even death was the end of a man so strong.

The Time Untime approaches…

Kateri Avani has been plagued her entire life with dreams she doesn't understand. Images of places she's never been and of a man she's never seen. Her quest for answers has driven her to Las Vegas where she hopes to finally silence the demons in her mind.

What she never anticipates is coming face to face with the warrior who has haunted her her entire life. One who belongs to a world the scientist in her refuses to believe is real.

Ren Waya came back from the dead to keep the prophecy he began from coming true and ending the world. For thousands of years, he has fought the same evil that once possessed him. But now that evil has found the one person he can't fight. The one person who, against his will, holds the most sacred part of him.

His heart.

But if he doesn't kill Kateri, the deadliest of evils will reemerge and destroy everyone else on the planet. It was a sacrifice he made once.

Will he be able to make it again?

Must Read- Great Tie In to Previous Books!

Which scene was your favorite?

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Both

Any additional comments?

I hope all of her books will eventually tell everyone's story. I have read all this series so far and I hope that she continues with it. She is one of my favorite authors and I like all her other series, but the Dark Hunters and the Dream Hunters will always have a place in my heart.

Better than I remember

When I think of the Dark Hunter series as a whole, I forget about the importance of this book. Since this one is outside the typical gods used in the rest of the series, it's easy to just let this one slide. The interactions with Nick are too important to skip.

Easily my favorite since Acheron.

What did you love best about Time Untime?

I loved the way Ren's back story was reveiled. I thought it really fit with the play on time.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Of course, I always love to see Acheron, but I was happy also to see some other characters I have enjoyed in the past like Nick (who showed more of his old self than he has in a while) and Sundown (whose own book had been a disappointment given how much I like his character). I really liked both the hero and heroine in this book.

Which character – as performed by Holter Graham – was your favorite?

Choo is probably my favorite voice of his. However, I'm not fond of all his voices, and it grates on my nerves the way he pronounces Simi (not at all the way I've heard the author or anyone connected with her pronounce it).

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

There's always a few scenes in her books that make me laugh. It's one of the things I love about her books. I did shed a few tears, which was odd since I didn't even cry at Acheron's book.

Any additional comments?

Yes, the last book intruduced a new Pantheon, and it continues in this book. Some people have found that confusing, but to me it makes sense. In the DH world, pretty much all the major religions (current and past) have some basis in that world's reality. Without spoiling the back story, I will say that I found this book highlighted some connections between this Pantheon and the previous ones she's introduced rather well, also tying it with Acheron's history.

Kenyon Scores Again

Where does Time Untime rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I could praise Kenyon's writing for years. I have followed the Dark Hunter series for well over a decade. She never disappoints. I love Jess and it was great he showed up again. Its all about connections, history, love, identity and redemption. The sex is good too.

What other book might you compare Time Untime to and why?

Any of the books in the Dark Hunter series. Yet each is uniquely different.

What does Holter Graham bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I have some vision issues and I enjoy listening to a good reader. The characters are more alive when someone else reads..

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes and no. I like to savor Kenyon's characters and how they interact with ASH.
