About this listen

Defend Hexen, Gain Levels, Repel the Shrezen Waves!

Nobody mentioned how hard being a champion on Loral would be. Rico still would've gone if they did though, because his new family is everything to him. The problem is, the damned Shrezen are coming and each wave brings harder armies to defeat. He wanted, no, he hoped for a brain dead legion of zombie type opponents.

Pure awesomeness!

Like I said in my review of book 1, Burke doesn't fail to deliver. And the fact that he can write a series this amazing based on a Tower RPG format blows my mind.
I personally would like to see a bit more tower and city building but I'm not sure how he does as much as he does already.
If you liked the first book you're definitely going to like this one.
It's got the HaremLit, it's got the action and it's even got the "little g gods" involved in the MC's life.
I give this book 8.5 out of 5 stars and am hoping book 3 comes out soon.

Pretty good stuff

A great book. Tower defence is a tricky genre to put in a LITRPG but damn if this wasn't entertaining.
Lots of spice and world-building in typical Burke fashion.

LitRPG Isekai Fantasy to new heights!

"Tower Mage 2" by David Burke takes LitRPG Isekai Fantasy to new heights, and Wisniewski and Woods bring the magic to life with their stellar narration. Burke's writing is a spellbinding mix of challenge and heart, keeping readers hooked on Rico's quest to defend Hexen. A sequel that not only levels up the story but also showcases the perfect synergy of a talented author and narrators.

Great Performance but dark story.

I have read /listened to many on the author's books but this one has to be one of the darkest. However it is intriguing and I am interested to se how the story is resolved. I just wished it wasn't so dark...depresses me after awhile.

Meh

I don’t care for this one much. It’s hard to get behind the mc and root for what he’s doing, feels scummy and lane.

Good book

This is a good book, not nearly as great as book one but still worth reading. Story took a turn from book one and then developed from there down a somewhat different path.
