About this listen

One last twin swap. What could go wrong?

Twenty-six-year-old Dani’s identical twin sister calls her out of the blue with a colossal problem. Sophie needs to jet off to Mexico to save her friend from a botched tummy tuck, but her boss won’t let her take any PTO. Dani, eager to repair their strained relationship, leaves her glamorous LA life behind as a top social media influencer to save the day. Dani’s dang good at pretending to be her sister, but is she good enough to teach high school kids in rural Oklahoma?

When Sophie gets stuck in Mexico for an entire month, Dani not only has to teach economics and life skills, but she has to direct the school musical. And that boss Sophie hates so much? Yeah, it turns out Principal Beck is entirely too good looking and single for Dani to ignore.

Rushed high school musicals, fiery school board politics, and cozying up to Sophie's boss, definitely weren't on her sister's pre-approved syllabus, but Dani never was one for sticking to the plan.

A fun story. PG-13 for sure.

This is a fun twin-swap story. I actually found that I was quite drawn in by the plot and the development of the romance. The premise was a little far-fetched, but this is escapism reading (or rather, listening). It was a great twist on enemies to love and mistaken identity plots. There was lots of romantic tension. Based on where I discovered the audiobook, I expected it to be a clean story, which is my personal preference. It was definitely not sex-free, but the action was kept behind closed doors...no graphic descriptions...so I could stick with it to finish the story. Some language. It won't fit the bill for listeners who want a totally clean read. The ending tied things up in a nice bow for me. The narration was good and easy to listen to. If you like romance and don't mind some language and a little bedroom action without description, then you'll likely enjoy this book.

Fun read

This was a fun book. I love twin swap stories so I was excited to read this one. I was worried once I got into the book that it would have some graphic bedroom scenes but I was pleasantly surprised that it faded to black when those scenes came up. I’m not a fan of open door romance so I appreciated that.
There was some mild swearing and mild sex talk (I probably wouldn’t let my teenager read it), but nothing I was super bugged by.
The narrator did a great job although it took me a minute to get used to her voice. She changed her voice for the different characters and had great inflection.
I listened to the whole story in one day so obviously I thought it was cute.

Double the Fun

This book was a really fun listen. Although, I will say that I didn’t feel like Dani deserved all the blame for what happened. Her sister put her in a ridiculous situation from the start. Dani has a fun, bubbly personality, and I loved listening to all of her shenanigans. The ending was, of course, perfect, and I wouldn’t want it any other way. The narrator, Kelley Huston was perfect as well. As she always is. She breathes life into the story. It feels like she IS Dani, and not just reading Dani’s story to you. Overall, this is a five star book all the way around!

Cute but left me lacking

This is a cute story of adult twin ladies who decide to swap places so the "responsible" one can play hookie and the other will cover for her for a few weeks but things don't go as planned and one twin falls in love.
Yeah it's a big leap to blindly just go with it and it ends on a "happily for now"

Cute

This was a fun listen and I would love to hear the sisters story also. The characters had depth, mostly owned up to their messes and were likeable. The narration was well done.

Good story, nice narration

I’m a big fan of the Parent Trap movies with the twin swap trope and this book fit in perfectly. It was really fun, at times dramatic, others nerve wrecking. I enjoyed it.

Beck initially appeared to be a stick in the mud and very strict. Over time his true personally became evident and was hard to resist. Dani just wanted to help her sister and repair their damaged relationship, but her methods were misguided at best. Together they formed quite a team and are really good for one another.

Not squeaky clean, but there is no on page sex, a few bad words.

The performance was spot on. The narrator did a wonderful job. It was a good listen.

Twinfluence

omg all I have to say is Loved It!!! makes me kinda wish I had a twin, yeah maybe not because I'm kinda crazy, I don't think my family could handle 2 of me. lmao 🤣 , I kinda wonder if there are really twins that actually do, do the switch around. this story was so cute and I'm glad this made her think about what she really wanted to do in her life. yeah it missed up her sisters career a bit but hey she made up for it. lol I was a little sad that she lost the guy. I was hoping for them . but HAY it all worked out at the end. they got what they need. All I have to say now is you guys have to read this book it's funny, it has those little bad ass kids, let's just say this is a really cute and interesting rom-com. you won't be disappointed and the narrator did a really good job too.

Good characters

Though all twin swap stories are a bit tropy, and somewhat immature, the motivation for the twin swap was believable, and the conflict between the sisters was written well. I really like enemies to lovers stories, and this one was well-written. My only caveat is they jumped into bed together way too quickly for my taste, especially in a book that was advertised as “clean.” Yes, it is behind closed doors, so technically can be included in the clean group, but they were absolutely acting on lust more than love.

Because I know that is a personal opinion, I didn’t really deduct any stars because if that - but I’m writing the review for those like me who would appreciate the knowledge.
