About this listen

In hindsight, I should not have had that fifth mimosa at Breakfast with Santa.

Or the sixth, seventh, and eighth.

Even if the mic-drop moment that resulted was worth the looks on my former friends’ faces.

For the sake of my children and my pride, I pack up and head for my childhood home and the small town where I grew up. Cloverleigh Farms would be the perfect place for a fresh start.

Falling for Henry DeSantis wasn’t part of the plan.

Sure, he’s easy on the eyes and hard in the bedroom (also the hallway, the bathtub, and on top of his desk), but things between us are moving too fast, and I’m afraid neither one of us is ready for what it might mean.

But Henry makes me feel beautiful and sexy and wanted and strong - things I haven't felt in years. We understand each other, and when I’m in his arms, I’m tempted to trust again. To love again. To let myself be loved without fear.

But deep down, I’m terrified.

Is this all too much, too soon? Or am I a fool to let a second chance at happily-ever-after pass me by?

so sweet

This sister feels like how I want to feel sometimes. She is reserved when she wants to be, (even though she is changing that a bit), She is not where she wants to be in life but is on her way to WAY BETTER. She meets a guy that she doesn't know that she needs in her life. swoon!!! its an amazing story of second chance.

The Winemaker and the Owners’ Daughter

Unbreakable by Melanie Harlow has written a beautiful story about two hurting divorced people that find love that is worth fighting for. Passion reigns and consumes Henry and Sylvia at first. Later, when her children sees them kissing, Sylvia feels they need to back off their secret trysts. By working together as Henry as he teaches Sylvia the workings of the vineyard, they fall in love. Fears overwhelm as Sylvia tries putting her life back together after her devastating divorce, She is afraid to trust Henry to really love her. She has to put her children first? The HEA is there in the end. Grab your tissues and cry with Sylvia as she and Henry figure out this thing called love!

It's his Cadence

I'll just buy the book once I glet Tor Thoms' ridiculous cadence out of my head. I try to avoid his narrations. I had this book purchased with a credit giving my ears a
break from the last time I listened to him. I can't even finish wishing Vanessa Edwin could just have done the whole book alone. I really wanted to finish this one while driving but I can't. I'll circle back once I get time and Tor out of my head.

Amazing small town romance

This was absolutely incredible! I obviously have to give credit to the author for such an amazing book but I think the male narrator Tor Thom played a big role in carrying this book to the next level for me. Can you fall in love with a voice? 100 percent yes! Add in the fact that Henry was such an incredibly sweet hero and I was a goner! Tor Thom's voice is so deep, smooth and sexy. Seriously I may a bit obsessed! Vanessa Edwin is the female narrator and she did a good job as well... but really this one was all about Tor.

The story itself is a small town romance with two divorcees who unexpectedly find love with each other. Neither of them were really looking because they had such bad experiences with their previous marriages. The attraction was almost instant and the chemistry was incredible. Henry is the ultimate good guy. He was so caring, gentle and sweet. So his sexy, dirty talk in the bedroom and his aggressive uncontrollable lust was a fantastic surprise.

I loved how mature these characters were and the way they put the needs of Sylvia's kids in front of their own relationship. Both of them were so selfless and endearing. The support and love from Sylvia's family and Henry's friends was also heartwarming. I love small town romances for these very reasons.

This was such a sexy, swoon worthy romance and I feel the need to binge this entire series. These are all interconnected standalones.

Henry & Sylvia

Perfect Narrators for this story. Enjoyed hearing this story and the complexities of Divorce and Divorce with Children. its a delicate balance in putting your children first but deserving happiness too. Been there done that and Melanie did a great job with this one..

Loved this story

I have been not so patiently waiting for oldest sister Sylvia Sawyer’s story and it was everything I hoped for and so much more.

After a humiliating meltdown Sylvia and her children return to Cloverleigh Farm to re assess their future and to start over after being betrayed by Sylvia’s cheating ex Bret.

The last things she expects to do is fall for newly divorced head wine maker Henry DeSantis.

The chemistry between Sylvia and Henry is off the charts and smoking hot. As their friendship develops, the banter and conversations got better and better; this may well be my favourite book in the series.

There is humour and this was such a well written and entertaining read that I was completely captivated from the first to the last chapter.

Will Sylvia let down the walls protecting her heart and learn to trust again? Is Henry the man to mend her broken heart? Is Sylvia the woman to bring back the spark into lonely Henry’s life?
