Publisher's summary

The four rules of freelance villainy are as follows:

Always wear a mask

Never hurt civilians

Never kill the heroes you’re paid to fight.

And the bad guy always loses.

But there's an unspoken fifth rule: Don't get involved with heroes off the clock.

Too bad that's not an option after taking down Teklin. And even worse, it's with the Heroes of Earth, one of the biggest hero orgs in the world! Apparently, they have some concerns about me founding a new evil organization. Just because I have a home death ray, an evil lair, and a trio of gorgeous villainess lovers, not to mention a demoness who's taking a vacation in my house.

And I really don't have time to deal with heroes. Because a group of mad scientists called the Brain Trust are after my psychic villainess, all to power a machine to either take over the world, or ensure everyone flosses.

Just another day as a Villain for Hire.

Fun and good natured

This has been a very fun, upbeat and good natured series and this third book in the series did not fail to live up to the prior entries. Not your brooding or dark villain book, instead it puts a positive spin on this villain who really isn’t so villainous

5 stars

Another great book by Jay Aury. You will not be disappointed. Also the dual narration really brings the story to life.

Taking on the biggest group of superheroes?

That doesn't sound like our group of villains are going to get a fair shake.
They may actually have to use the death-ray.
This is an amazing Supers HaremLit series.
I can't wait to read book 4.
I give this book 8.5 out of 5 stars.

Great book

feels like a great finish to introducing the first 3 villansess. About three scuffed lines that sound like they where recorded by other people, but thats like 30 seconds at most out of the entire book.

Entertaining

A highly entertaining story on its own, with a fun twist on the superhero genre. It's also one of the exceptionally rare harem series to use a little bondage play (femsub).

I found the characters of Mammon and Captain Invincible to be particularly amusing.

The plot twist, the character turning out to be the big bad, ended up being a bit predictable but it was still a really enjoyable story.

Too bad the voice actors can't pronounce "Glacia" or "Mammon" correctly.

I am disappointed nothing happened with the bees. I guess that was just a throwaway scene to show how capable the protagonist is. I'm also disappointed nothing happened with the government spook. Why even include that:? Did the author set that up and then forget to do anything with that plot thread? Or will it come back around later - if so, it isn't in the next book in the series.

A decent story but a cheap audiobook

The story is decent but the audio is poor, it's almost like they cut and pasted different reasons together with all the random pauses, differing volumes ave changing inflections that entails. also the author really needs to have a define pronunciation for the characters. the same characters name will change between books and even worse in the same book. glassia is not glacia. siren or psy-ren. mammon or Ma'mon. pick one!

Good and evil with irresistible charisma!

"Villain for Hire: Maidens and Master Minds" by Jay Aury, narrated by Andrew Pond and Ellory Lane, immerses you in a world where villains and heroes blur the lines of good and evil with irresistible charisma. Aury's writing is wickedly clever, and the narrators do an exceptional job bringing these characters to life. If you're looking for a delightful, tongue-in-cheek adventure with a touch of romance, this series is a must-read (or listen)!
