About this listen

Haunted and hidden.

Mysterious and sexy, Grayson Falcon steers clear of commitment in all forms. He takes the road less traveled, avoiding the demons of his past and the nightmares they cause. He uses his good looks and country charm to attain pleasure, but it is always a short-lived reprieve.

Sweet and scarred.

Once believing that love can conquer all, Mandee Carlin's life was then turned upside down and inside out. Her beauty queen good looks and sweet smile always caught the eye of the wrong kind of man. However, as a survivor, she still holds on to hope that one day she will come face to face with the man whose whispered words will give her strength to still believe.

What happens when the hopeless find hope...at the wrong time?

Love is...wasted.

Contains mature themes.

From Wasted To Saved

I am so lucky I discovered this Author on Audible!!
I’ve listened to Books 1&2, but Book 1 with Gage and Phoenix is my favorite.
I really enjoyed Grayson, his character is dark and brooding. He has a lot on his shoulders and hides it from his family. His outlet is his guitar and the beautiful songs he sings.
Mandee is Phoenix’s best friend. Mandee lost her mother to cancer and it left her and her father devastated. She works at their bar and personally meets Grayson. She knows who he is and she finds him attractive except that he leaves with a different girl all the time!
When they get to know each other she discovers he doesn’t do relationships. She wants to find out why, and in doing so they start a sexually relationship is hot and very steamy 🔥🔥🔥
I like this storyline, it all flowed well and lots of secrets revealed, relationships healed.
Characters from the other books were in the storyline. It had an emotional, drama filled and healing, lots of it!
I just would have liked John Lane as the narrator for this book.

Grayson & Mandee’s live story

Absolutely a great ending to this trilogy and possibly open for more. Grayson was an alpha male with may issues which started from childhood and skewed his views on love. Many family issues were finally brought to light.Lack of communication, secrecy, and lies destroyed their family. FMC was weak but strong. Each character grew with time.

My new favorite MJ Fields series!

The Steel Country series is my new favorite of all MJ Fields' series! I'm the oldest and can completely relate to the pressures Gage always feels are placed on his shoulders. His struggles with his parents, his siblings and finding love for the sake of love and not for the sake of responsibility is something every oldest child can relate to and wishes every younger sibling would understand. Garrett's story really helped me relate better to my second sibling. It's hard to come after a brother or sister that seems to have it all together, and his ability to forgive and not continue to hold a grudge is awe-inspiring. And then there's Grayson! This is such a wonderful love story with lives that are intertwined from the beginning of their adolescent lives. There are also wonderful words of advice and encouragement on love and relationships. I wish MJ Fields would put those tidbits in a book all their own.

Mandi and Grayson

These two characters definitely have some past issues to overcome. They also have a past to remember. This is a great story and conclusion to the series. I would recommend this story and series. Enjoyed the narration as well.
