Publisher's summary

Is the bridal lingerie embroidered with dildos too much? It might be too much....

Welcome to life as a wedding dressmaker for the rich and entitled of Manhattan. I’ve seen it all - from the most spoiled brides to the most egotistical Wall Street bros.

The worst?

Mark Holbrook. Billionaire. Arrogant. Knockout sexy. Certifiable jerk.

He hates weddings, and I hate him.

But now, his cousin is marrying my best friend.

He’s the best man with a bad attitude, and I am the maid of honor who still lives in her childhood bedroom packed floor to ceiling in sewing supplies - complete with two gay dads and a family of rescue Roombas - who has never had a serious relationship and who is living her dream wedding vicariously through her best friend.

Pathetic? Abso-freakin’-lutely.

But I’m not so downtrodden that I let Mark get away with talking smack about weddings.

Nope!

I flashed him. And dumped coffee all over him. That’ll learn him!

And hopefully send him running.

I don’t need Mark and his wedding negativity in my life.

I also don’t need to sleep with him after a stressful wedding planning session, nor do I need to sleep with him after the cake testing.

And I definitely don’t need to fall in love!

This stand-alone, full-length romantic comedy has no cliff-hangers but does have a swoon-worthy HEA! This book is steamy! The highs are hilarious and the lows are as deep as the voice of the guy you want in your bed!

Wedding Bells and Wall Street Bros

It is always fun to step back into the world and characters Alina Jacobs has created. Her romantic comedies are original and entertaining and I love that the stories and characters are interconnected.

Brea's career is all about weddings and her best friend is getting married to Mark's cousin. Mark does not like weddings but is the best man. What starts as animosity quickly morphs to something more.

This enemies to lovers story is full of laughs, great secondary characters, and romance. It can be read as a standalone, but I do recommend picking up the other series so you get to know all these characters.

As with Alina's other audiobooks the narrators are perfectly cast and do an excellent job!

Hilarious and Fun! Must read or listen!

This story has plenty of feels and I totally loved it! It was entertaining and enjoyable. I laughed so much that my cheeks hurt! The characters were interesting and likable for the most part. Memphis Eve and Stella Rose needed something to happen to show them what kind of people they are, but we didn't get to see that which was a bit disappointing for me. I really loved Brea and Mark. They were so good at pushing each other's buttons and riling each other up that it was fun to see how that translated into a relationship. Their friends and family were absolutely wonderful even when I wanted to smack them over some of the things they said. Brea also made me want to smack her a few times especially when she practically gave Mark whiplash several times. I would totally keep Mark as my new book boyfriend. He felt like a jerk at first but really turned into a sweetie that deserved to be happy. The way the story ended was great although I do wish there was an epilogue further out so you really got the effect of the happy ever after.

Listening to this audiobook was a pleasure. The narrators did a great job of bringing the story to life. I recommend listening to this audiobook or reading the book.

Love this author!

This is one author I auto download every book and every series, no pre-reading necessary on my Kindle. Every story has the right amount of fun, drama, 🌶 heat!!! and always a happily ever after with no cliffhangers, stories and series are interconnected in one way or another (which I LOVE) so you feel like you’re still in their ever evolving / growing book world. I can’t say enough good things about Alina Jacobs my favorite author to date!!!

Captivated!

Mark & Bria. I loved this story. It took me a long time to listen to it and not due to the story but to my time for listening. Every time I came back to it, I got right back into the story, right back into Bria’s crazy family drama and wedding planning for Liz and Wes. There is something about this series. I’m enjoying it. I like each of the female leads and I can’t wait for each of them to find their other, their true love. Poor Bria wrapped herself into knots over Mark and at one point I was about to cry on my drive into Dallas. I’m sure that people were looking at me crazy. I just felt the story. Between the narrators, Tom Paige and Neva Navarre, and Alina Jacobs writing, I was just captivated! I can’t wait to read the rest of the series. 😊
