About this listen

No one knows leadership like Jack Welch, former chairman and CEO of General Electric. Along with his wife and best-selling co-author, Suzy Welch, he explores with Daniel Goleman what it means to be a great leader, and what elements must be present for any leader to be successful. Key elements of emotional intelligence, from self-awareness to the ability to instill core values in a team, are part of that success. Discovering how to nurture emotional intelligence, beginning as early as childhood, plays a crucial role in the ultimate success of any leader. Now, in What Makes a Leader?, listeners can learn from the best how to create an environment that helps leadership to thrive.©2006 More Than Sound, LLC (P)2006 Audio Renaissance, a division of Holtzbrinck Publishers, LLC Business Development & Entrepreneurship Career Success Decision-Making & Problem Solving Entrepreneurship Leadership Management & Leadership Career Employment Business

I was expecting more from this title. At points throughout, the was disagreements from the pair leaving me to wonder why they choose to work thru it during the recording of this book, rather than ahead of time. I felt like this was still a work in progress rather than a guide that I'm looking for.
