Good Book

I really liked this book. I think I took it a little too serious because I found myself talking to the characters like they could really here me...lol and my Husband really thinks i'm crazy.

I COULDVE HAD A V8..

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

DISAPPOINTING INDEED
This story just didn't seem developed enough. It had some grimy mellow drama but that's it.

This was a pretty good read

I did expect a lil bit more from this book but it was a decent book. The narrator was very good and the characters in the book were well developed and their issues were addressed. I did begin to think in the beginning how all the characters were connected but in the end the connections came together. The character that ranaway in the beginning of the book did lose me and that character could have been left out of the story because she really didnt have a reason to be in the book. All together this book was decent.

Not bad for a free book!

Good story lines for the most part and I liked the narration. Title doesn't work for three book to me.

Didn't think that Taneisha's story line was even necessary for the book. It never really tired in to the other characters like that. She had one friendship and it was a short part of the book.

Cherise's character should've been smarter and deserved better than her ending. Decaryous wasn't a good man to her or period.

Good story, horrible directing

What did you love best about What’s His Is Mine?

I had a hard time getting into this book. The way the book was chopped up I guess the best way to describe what I didn't like. The way the book was read was distracting. I wanted to know what was going to happened to the characters.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I liked Cherise because she was the character I could most relate to.

Some of the reading would irritate me

The story line was great. The plot was great. However the one thing that irritated me was the voice of Shariece and Zakia. The person, Last name Pittman and I don't remember the other person's name but... Three one who read Shariece made every body sound like the tone and annunciations used when acting as a slave. I hated it.... Or deep southern. Uggh

limited

annoying, delusional and sad female characters, and the dimwitted male athletes who lust for them. superficial story told with no character development, slow plot movement. but with plenty of "wtf" moments. passages were repeated almost verbatim. not a good listen for me.

I couldn't sit through this audiobook...

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

I am not sure. Perhaps a younger reader between the ages of 18-25????

What was most disappointing about Daaimah Poole’s story?

I think the book started off poorly and did not capture my attention. It felt as if I had heard or read about this storyline before.

What three words best describe the narrators’s performance?

Unsure, couldn't listen to it in full because the storyline was not interesting.

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

I don't know.

Any additional comments?

No
