Wonderful story

If I hadn't adopted teens from foster care before reading I would do so now. It also dealt with depression which I struggle with occasionally. I highly recommend this.

God’s marvelous MERCY and GRACE!

I appreciated the way it was brought about that “even Christians” can suffer from deep depression, and that it is good to seek counseling and there may be a need for medication, the imbalance of chemicals of the brain are very real.
Grace and forgiveness is of utmost importance.
The faith of a child is so precious!

When Joy Came to Stay

This is a well written book. I finished the audio in two days! So good! The narrator, Barb Caruso, is excellent. She uses accents, etc. expertly.

Great inspirational story!

It was a little predictable but still a great Christian story! It reminded me of a lot of the promises God made to us that are easily forgotten when we're hurting or dealing with tough situations.

Compelled to write

When starting to read/listen to this book I found it a little difficult to get interested. It did not take long for the author to capture my interest and help me realize many women are dealing with challenging situations that cause them to question themselves. I would highly recommend this block to everyone living in America today.

Hopeful inspirational novel

This book is an inspiration for the down hearted who have found themselves in an unexpected, sometimes undeserving circumstance. It also deals with breaking unhealthy chains and patterns in families, forgiveness and hope.

slow but picks up

I had a hard time getting into the book however once the main people were developed it got better. It was a little predictable but it was enjoyable.
