Publisher's summary

The least of these have the most to give. In Wherever the River Runs, Kelly Minter invites us on a journey down a river teeming with piranhas and caimans, as well as machete-wielding mothers, heroic jungle pastors, faith-filled children, and miracles too seldom experienced in our part of the world. Kelly's honest and engaging narrative pulls back the curtain on one of the most captivating places on earth as well as on parts of the gospel we may be able to recite but have never fully believed. On this beautiful adventure through the jungles of Brazil and the tangles of the soul, Kelly rediscovers Jesus among a forgotten people living well beyond the corners of her previously defined faith - a people who draw her back to their country, their pain, and their hope in Him, again and again.

Couldn't Stop Listening

Everything about this book captivated me from the first second I began listening. I laughed, cried and sometimes paused to contemplate what had just been said. Kelly Minter did an amazing job and piecing together the story and the Lord has surely used her through this book. I consider it a must read for Christians everywhere. But be warned: get ready to have your eyes opened and your toes stepped on...in the best way possible!

Loved it!

Kelly has a gift in bringing the Amazon and it's people to life. I have a clearer understanding of the Amazon people and the hurting people in my Neighborhood. I was uplifted and also convicted.

I didn't like this book at first but ......

I have to admit that at first this book was annoying. I'm so glad I stuck with it. the author had been brave enough to be give us a peak at her Christian journey and what God has been showing her that began with a mission trip to the Amazon. She doesn't try to make herself look good, she shares honestly about her own stuggles.
