good mini story

nice little side story that creates more world building and character development for a non-main character. it was worth the price and I really enjoyed it. moved to tears at times which makes it all worth it.

Wonderful short story!

I love this side adventure/stand-alone story! It's like a treat while you wait for the main story to continue.

Good story

Overall I thought the story was enjoyable. My only issue is that a male voice was used on a story whose main char was a young girl. It caused some issues staying in the story to hear a male voice when a young female was being portrayed (which in this story was most of the time). The reader was good and did his best. I just feel male readers should read books with a male main character and females should read books whose main character is female.

felt disjointed and incomplete w misinformation

Starts w MC and younger sister (against mom's order) sneak out of castle to look for lost puppy. It's winter, snow etc. The sisters get sidetraked. They have a snowball fight. Monster shows up. Big sister distracts monster so little sis escapes. Then the lack of information runs amok. No one can have eyes frozen shut w/o damage. MC doesn't use magic etc for healing. MC is frozen in place then gets loose by mundane means. It's a little disjointed, there's no way to tell time passage. Monster has a hall of bodies, different races, sex, and ages. The bodies are discribed as life like to crumbled corpses. These are offerings to the gods. So why wasn't MC put there? There are other glaring misses. Then it isn't clear but apparently MC's mom fusses at monster... shes someone's descendent so monster better listen. Mom tells monster to go back to sleep and he does. The story claims to be from world of cats and dragons. Thats accomplished by mentioning main MC, Omen and his cat Tormy and this MC wishing they'd visit. The reader does a very good job. I enjoyed his narration.
