About this listen

Prophecy foretells the Dark Lord's rise, sparking a desperate quest for magical relics.

A ruthless wizard lord conquers a neighboring wizardom, increasing his magic far beyond mere mortals. The more power he gains, the more he craves.

While wizardoms war against one another, the Dark Lord rises. An army of monsters invades, sending the world toward the brink of doom.

A team of misfits find themselves the fulcrum point of destiny, their world teetering upon their actions, certain to crumble should they fail. Led by cryptic passages from a dark prophecy, these heroes set off on two separate quests.

One expedition leads to the Enchanter's Isle, rumored to hide a mysterious object known as the Band of Amalgamation. The other involves the Arc of Radiance, a sacred object protected by a lost race of elves.

What powers might these two enchanted relics unlock?

Can they be recovered before it is too late?

Objects of Power continues the Fate of Wizardoms epic, a sprawling fantasy saga loaded with magic, mystery, and discovery.

Half way through

Fantastic read, once you know all the characters it's amazing to see the interplay and reactions for all the situations that they get into. Can't wait for the next 2 books to find out how it it all turns out.

Wow! Ready for the next book!!

This story continues where book #3 left off and boy do things Happen! This author does a wonderful job with Characters, Storyline, & world building. I highly recommend this series and the Narrator is just a good with bringing the story to life and making it realistic.

Another thrilling book in the series

Jeffrey L. Kohanek has crafted a splendid follow-on to the series. Here we have the fellowship split to acquire a number of objects of power that the seer's from book 3 prophesied were needed on their next quest. In accomplishing these tasks they encounter new races and beasts and, of course, several near death battles along the way. The war between the wizard lords continue separately and, mostly, do not directly involve our intrepid MCs. Even so, the toppling of these mighty wizards is done in creative ways and several times where serendipity unconvincingly seems at play. There are some dangling old grudges that finally get settled and new alliances being joined. All in all, the book moves this story along keeping the listener engaged and entertained.

Travis Baldree's performance is special, as always.

Amazing

For fans of Tolkien’s trilogy this is a story of epic proportions. The characters come alive and the trials they must overcome are daunting. Be prepared to meet Elves and Dwarves, dragons and goblins. Each encounter steering them toward a destination that to them is unknown.

Jeffrey L. Kohanek has crafted a wonderful world for us to step into. I look forward to the next book.

Magnificent!

Wizardoms: Objects of Power (Fate of Wizardoms Book 4). my tenth read from author Jeffrey L. Kohanek. Picks up seamlessly from the end of Temple of the Oracle (Fate of Wizardoms, #3). The tension & suspense continue to ratchet up throughout the book’s length. 10-hrs 6-minutes/357-pages but reads even longer with the attention to detail written into the story. Kohanek’s fantasy worlds have become one of my favorite fantasy reads. AS always I was impressed and enjoyed the vocal variety & inflections of narrator Travis Baldree. I look forward to reading Wizardoms: Rise of a Wizard Queen (Fate of Wizardoms Book 5) just as soon as I get it. I was given an Audible copy of this book & am voluntarily reviewing it. This series!!!

I absolutely love this series. it just keeps getting better and as the world expands and the main characters grow I find myself loving it even more. With that being said...for some reason I struggled not get through the audiobook version, especially when compared to how I devoured the ebook in 2 days. But as the series gets more intense my inner narrator gets more intense as well. however this narrator does not match the intensity that I feel during as the series progresses so it's a struggle get into it the way I get do when I'm reading it. this does take away from the story a little bit for me, I'm not sure if it would for people that don't read it and listen exclusively to audiobook versions but as a reader of this series I find ebooks being better than the audio books as it progresses.
