My fellow Americans, we are here for one reason: the fact that I picked Marc Havak to represent us in the crucible of carnage. Now, before we talk about how fantastic I am at making world leader decisions, let’s talk about how great this sequel is. I've read many sequels, and all were bad. Very very bad. But this one? It's the best. And not just because I'm in it. No. Well, yes. I’m in it, and I always do a fantastic job with everything.

The best part of being a human is everyone constantly underestimates you, and that means they never see it coming when your dagger plunges into their heart. Our business is growing, but so is our list of enemies. Dwarven gangsters? The Assassins Guild? The commander of the Elven Guard? Yup, they are all problems for us as we expand our criminal operation throughout the realm, and we gotta get rid of ‘em all if we’re going to make mountains of gold. Fortunately, they’ll never see it coming.

Nothing goes on in this city without me knowing about it. We run the whiskey business. We run the brothels. But it's not all fun and games. While we’ve eliminated our smaller rivals and obstacles, there are still powerful forces in the Elven empire and their Dwarven toadies who could topple our criminal empire. But the tide has turned, and soon, our enemies will be dead, or they’ll be turned into allies. We have to play it smart because this isn’t about running rackets in one city.

The DEPP has transported Dave and his lovely women to another even more alien and dangerous version of Earth than the last. They have to begin fortifying their trans-dimensional territory if they have any hope of surviving these hostile environments. Cambrian Era monstrosities and massive tidal surges caused by an angry moon goddess are pretty nasty challenges for anybody to survive, but a flesh eating blob that wants to devour all life on Earth? After my parents were murdered, I thought the most difficult things in my near future were to find their killer and take over my father’s gang. Well, I found the killer, but then the FBI had to get in the way. While running from the feds, I ended up falling through this portal and into another world with crazy creatures, monster-people, and magic. But there are things I’m familiar with. Like corruption. Like organized crime. Like beautiful women. And I think I could do pretty well for myself in this new world.

Unfortunately, this success has drawn the attention of the domineering elven authorities, including the Guildmaster of the Thieves’ Guild and the Captain of the City Guard. I’ll have to get the authorities off our backs, keep the whiskey flowing, and continue to follow the lead of my magic keys. Or we’ll all end up dead.

A month ago, I was a lowly alchemist who was a glorified handyman for the magic academy. Then, I learned I had the contraband ability to capture the souls of magical beings inside gems and use them to cast magic of my own. Now, I’m the big man on campus. I’m rubbing shoulders with the elite of our kingdom, and I’m trying to topple a crime syndicate that’s working with our worst enemies.

Ever since I discovered that I can kill magical creatures, trap their souls in precious gems, and use them to cast spells of my own, I haven’t had a moment’s rest. I have to balance my academics with learning how to use my powers and capture more souls in more gems to grow my spell collection. All the while avoiding angry aristocrats, nosy professors, criminal mobsters, and evil dwarves bent on destroying the civilized kingdoms. Luckily, I have some handy magic, a super awesome foxgirl and the hottest elven girl in school by my side, so nothing can stop me.

I’m a murderer, a hired killer, an assassin with unheard of magic. I never asked to be a hero, but if I don’t stop this titan from destroying the kingdom, he will kill me, my family of assassins, and the two beautiful women that I love. So, it is a hero I will become.

I’m playing a dangerous game working for a crime syndicate while trying to overthrow them from within. And when the crime syndicate is working with our country’s mortal enemies to destroy our kingdom, and will do anything to keep that information private, I have tread very carefully. But thanks to my talented and beautiful girlfriends, and my ability to capture souls in gems to cast magical spells, nothing is going to stop me.

With each rival my syndicate eliminates two more appear, and they are out for blood. The assassin’s guild, the dwarven miners, and the elven overlords are all looking to put our heads on a pike. If my whiskey business is going to thrive it's going to take a little magic, all of their skills, a lotta luck, and the help of an enslaved djinn to overcome the odds against them. The risk is high, but the rewards are money, power, women, and revolution. Those are worth dying and killing for, so keep your blades sharp.
